You should if you love castles that much! I have some gorgeous wedding shots in front of Caerphilly Castle in Wales that I took as part of one of my exams during my A Levels. I'll find them (they are somewhere on my hard drive) and post them, cause weddings + castles = prettiest thing ever
Oh and I have a lot of wedding photos in general, because I became a bit obsessed with wedding photography and for a long time it was going to be my career. I studied under a local wedding photographer for a while and I got to do like, 5 or 6 weddings over the space of a couple of years
Ok Pops, here is your acid test.... Who is better ( as a photographer obviously), me or Marie???? :O Dont go by the number of posts of each poster, go by the quality.
Its closer than you think ( the contest), and it was never about the number of places The question was just to put Pops in a fix... I know I am not contesting, and neither are you... Lets see her reply.... ;-)
Psh, I ain't doin' that foo! You guys are both awesome.
How about this. Abhi, I love your photos because most are these beautiful nature/landscape shots of these exotic places I'd love to see. Makes you want to go there and experience it. Really breathtaking. One recently that I saw was on a beach with fisherman? That was so dang beautiful.
And Marie has a knack for finding beauty in the strangest things or even everyday moments. Beautiful, kinda quirky and visually interesting. She has great focal points and the colors in a lot of her pics (don't know if it's in editing or a setting on her camera) have a nice warm/vintage feel to them.
You can't compare you two because you have different styles, you see
Haha I knew you would say something like that! ) Thanks, though :] I like taking pictures of little unnoticed things oh and some pictures are "natural", in others I change the colour balance a little... I try to not edit much, though
Spoken like a true politician ..... LMAO Well I know our styles are different, and thats what makes this thread interesting.... Fantastic reply though, I must admit... *applauds*
Oh yeah you're right. here you go: uh well this is a wallet and a stuffed toy from my collection... and this one I drew in a bookshop, using a picture as reference.
I kinda want to paint but I'm not sure I'm any good hhaha ) I never really got the chance to learn Our painting teacher sucks. We don't even bother going to his class anymore because we don't do anything
Ok now the credit for these must go to my best friend, who loves Glass Paintings. She created it, I captured it. And she created these when she was down with fever, and was sick of being in bed....so she thought of something to do and these happened lol.
I finally decided to upload some of mine. These were clicked in the underbelly of the city, a "ghetto", if you might. It is, nonetheless, full of culture and patriotism at every step. I'll let Abhi guess where these were clicked.
In the twisting winding lanes of Chandni Chowk ???? These are awesome Ansh.....especially the concept of retaining the colour in subjects in some of the pics.....particular favourites, 3rd,4th,6th and last...
PS - You have got one heck of a sexy name man.... Ansh Ranvir Vohra. ARV. :O You must be loving your name...
I know I will be waiting for that day when at the end of a movie your name comes on the Big Screen, and people give you a rousing, standing ovation.... And that Academy Awards Statuette is in the bag...
You MUST try Indian Dishes Marie. I wish I could email those stuff to you LMAO, but there is no such technology available now lololol..... Well, and who doesnt love tasty dishes....
Hahaha, when I have the money, sure! I wish I could make you guys taste some of these dishes. This family friend of mine called Tim, who's from Britain visited us a while back and he absolutely LOVED samosas. Indian food, if you like spicy food, is the best food you'll ever taste.
Yes. Slantee can be your Foodie Guide, bringing you mouth-watering delicacies and I can be your Photography Guide, taking you to exotic places. And Slant and I can swap our roles from time to time... )
