I remember my first Earthquake. It was 3am, and I hid under my desk for an hour because I thought there was a poltergeist attacking me.
Mine was at a similar time of day (night). I woke up and watched the closet doors, which were mirrors, bend and flex. Was very disorienting. Thought I was having an episode of vertigo. Went right back to sleep though. Wasn't everything I was hoping it would be. Sounds strange but it didnt live up to my expectations.
Logan, I'm guessing you're referring to the one that happened in April 2008-

Actually I was living in Los Angeles when it happened. I had wanted to experience an earthquake just to know if I needed to fear it or not. Everyone I knew that lived there had felt one. I missed so many just because of the area of town I was in at the time. The second one I felt I was actually in another room with similar mirrors and it was a more fun sensation that time.
