This, should really just be a LOST thread. Just throwing that out there. :/
The original writer of the thread made *this thread* with that intention.

Yeah. During series 3 or 4 (so far), while I still love them, I couldn't help but wonder what it would be like if those 3 hadn't died, and how the story would be different. Gah.

Yeah me too. The worst was Steve Carell's last show. I got a bit teary eyed during it because the acting was so believable.

He died in Series 3 - I think they needed to be killed off to make it less established - it would have been less accessible having all 5 of them running around the place, it was more manageable with two, Still ianto's death was unnecessary

LOST must be an amazing show by the sounds of it. I am tempted to go rent the 1st season now lol.

The one show that has ever really mattered so much to me was SLIDERS. I watched it when I was 13 (5 years ago). It's actually a show from the 90's, but my parents rented it from the library. I was really obsessed with it for about a year or two. Has anyone heard of SLIDERS?

I would have to say Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. I say this because it caused me to become a fan of Mariska Hargitay. In turn, I learned about her foundation, The Joyful Heart Foundation, that helps victims of domestic violence and sexual assault heal from what they have experienced. After coming into contact with victims stories and my grandmother's own story it inspired me to become a psychologist. I am going to specialize in treating victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

    OMFG :'(

I was choking up while watching it regularly, but the music in that clip is such a better rendition. I started legitimately crying when I saw that the night afterwards.

Packed to the Rafters. I think it's the only show that I've ever actually cried during.

The funeral is even sader... can't find a video though.

Sliders was awesome, I'm slightly old enough to remember a few episodes from when it came on. We used to sit down as a family and watch it.

    LOST.

Best TV show I've ever seen. Everything is so great. The characters, the mysteries, the locations etc.

I doubt I will ever find a show that captivating. LOST had everything and I still miss it.

Started watching the second season back in 2005, then bought season 1 on DVD.

Damn, still makes me sad to think about it. No other shows come even close.

Here's one of the most depressing moments on TV for me. It is from Game of Thrones. It is one of many emotional moments in the series so far.

**HUGE SPOILER ALERT: TO THOSE THAT HAVE NOT SEEN GAME OF THRONES OR HAVE NOT READ IT THEN DO NOT WATCH THIS**

Definitely a WTF moment for me since I haven't read the books. I was really disappointed how they portrayed the Starks and the Laninisters as a good vs evil, but then they go and kill off the one person your routing for most. Then after talking to a friend who has read the books and reading spoilers on the internet, I came to realize you're not supposed to care for anyone especially the Starks since all but a couple die anyway.

Well, lol, I have only read through part of book two so I dont know what happens. I do have certain characters I pull for and Ned was one for many reasons.

I have to say one of my favourite good, touching shows is Grey's Anatomy. This last season hasn't been as good though. It's missing something. I love the show because it's fun, it's deep, it's sad and it can make you think. A lot of things in one. :)

It's not even particularly emotional (well, apart from and most especially from at the end) it's just funny, and most importantly... special. It stays with you forever, if you're into it.

Aww I'm glad someone else chose SVU as their show!! I love it so much... I'd never heard of it until I spent time living in the US and my room mates in college were totally obsessed with it. We literally watched an episode every night, sometimes more than one, and I became so addicted that now I stream episodes all the time!

I'm completely obsessed with it lol. I have seen every episode ever aired (thanks to netflix, I got to watch all the episodes I missed). I'm super sad Stabler won't be back this coming season :( Thankfully, Benson is still here for this season though!
