Rumor has it it would be shown b4 Kung fu panda, get smart or the dark knight (i hope not batman, that's too far away).
Any news about this?

I mean, we'd all be bouncing off the walls if we heard news about the release. (ANd I'm talking official news, not "michael" news haha)

It's weird, I can kinda imagine them showing it before the dark knight to appeal to that audience. HBP is going to be so much darker it could be on a level with the dark Knight (rated 12A and all) and it might seem alot cooler is shown before dark knight. They really are cutting it fine with the marketing though, about 5ish months before the actual film comes out and look, virtually nothing.

The Trailer Was Actually in Batman Begins and Premiered Online Early Because Of The ABC Sneak Peek At Goblet Of Fire. So ABC Family might show a Sneak Peek At HBP and then the trailer will come out like last time.

Motion Picture American Association and British Board of Film Classification
There are the two organisation witch give the visa of exploitation and the authorizations of publications of all that relates to the video material (film, trailer, advertising) but in mail with them they reveals us that WB pictures don't give us YET any material for analysis before publication

this is wat UHP means:
the BBFA is like an organisation which certifies the movies ratings like age and stuff like that.
they usually get the movie first so that they can classify it. until now they havent received anything from WB. that means that they haven't completed the movie...CGI SFX and stuff like that hasn't been done yet.

Oh.Don't forget that shooting wrapped on May 17.Which means that the post-production has begun two weeks ago. Let me make this clear.If you actually expect battle scenes in the teaser trailer-even though I don't know how many are included.and nobody knows to be honest-they will not be there. The Hogwarts battle scenes were shot in the period of February-May. parts of it each month. And the Cave sequence was shot in October/November 2007. So...don't expect anything at all.Do you know how much CGI they'll need for the Astronomy Tower, the Cave, the Inferi etc?I wouldn't actually expect a Burrow battle too because if you've seen the set it's completely surrounded with green and blue screens and there will be fire and fire snakes etc. so...to be honest...I'd prefer to get a trailer in mid-July with TDK when they will have actually worked on some CGI for two months rather than get it in June.Just my opinion.
