$900M. Oh god. Wow. It's going to make over $950M internationally, but below $1B. This is the third highest after Avatar and Titanic internationally. DH2 is NOT going to be surpassed easily in the next decades. It's too high. Wow.

I've been thinking about it. WB will want to make the film pass the $1B mark internationally and the $400M mark domestically, so they'll try to find a way . A final re-release sometime in November before the DVD release could happen. With some extended scenes or as a double-feature with Part 1 for few weeks.
1.3 is locked, rich. DH2 is now heading towards 1.4. Won't reach it, but it'll be close. Somewhere around 1,360,000,000$. Maybe WB will think that it's only $250M behind Titanic, so a worldwide re-release sometime in the fall could make the film become the #02 of all-time.

Problem with this idea is that the film already lost half of the theaters it started with. That and the fact that not all Potter fans go online all the time won't help make this possible, sadly.
Maybe if the film receives a bunch of Oscar noms(tech), WB can re-release it into theaters?
They might re-release it during dead time after christmas to get ready for the oscars, or increase theaters sooner or later.
Based on the number of screens expect to see a steady decrease of DH 2 in theaters until mid-October and then there'll be an increase when it hits the dollar shows.

Won't the dollar shows start sometime in mid-September? I think that DH1's started sometime in mid-February. But anyway, yeah, there will be a decent increase when it hits the dollar shows.

A bit OT but I just found it that DH2 is (still) in the first place of the local box office here (in Egypt), that's actually pretty amazing. The foreign numbers are amazing, I'm slightly disappointed by the domestic numbers but all in all it's great.
