Yikes, we didn't even gross a million in a day? Is that the first time that's happened? Oh well, in that case we're still on par to gross $3 million this weekend domestically, right?

Yeah, it should rise during the weekend to more than 1 million a day.
School has started back in half of the country, every movie dropped harshly on wednesday. Once we get an update WW after the weekend we will be dangerously close to $900 million OS, and will pass it comfortably before september.

1.3 billion will happen. We can expect at least $70M from international markets until the end of the film's run and $20M domestically. So around $90-$110M left and we'll hit the 1,320,000,000$ mark, hopefully.
It's a good drop. DH2's hold is massively better than DH1, HBP, OotP, PoA, CoS' and pretty much neck-to-neck with GoF's. We should expect 900,000$ on Thursday and a 4.2M$ weekend.
Screendaily said so? So the film made from Monday to Thursday almost $30M internationally?! This is like exactly the same number from the previous week! Wow. $950M is locked internationally, I think. And $1.3B worldwide for sure. Not to mention that the steady drop domestically will most likely bring the film's total numbers above $380M. Wow.
According to a report from Inavate, the French 3D premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 has captured a record that is now set in the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest 3D projection in a cinema. The screen size used at the Palais Ominisports de Paris-Bercy was a massive 29.9m X 12.33m (98 ft X 40 ft), and it took six (6) Solaria Series CP2230 DLP Cinema projectors from Christie to fill the screen seamlessly. Christie digital projectors are commonly used in movie theaters worldwide. The 3D presentation of 'Deathly Hallows - Part 2' was shown to an audience of 8,500 patrons.
