I'm honestly stunned there is even remotely a competition. Voldemort destroys the protections is that shots of him destroying it on a hill, then some dramatic closeups. It's great, but I really don't think it stands a chance against any of the rest.
Yeah, you guys have got to understand that we've reached a point in the competition where they're all fantastic scenes but it's really just about which of them outstrips the other. The remaining scenes are pretty monumental compared to this short action shot.

Yes, it's one of the finest moments. I particularly love the shots of the knights and Hogwarts people looking at the collapsing shield and then the shield turning into red fireballs or something. Stunning poignant shots.
