I'd say...the Reaping would happen at about the 10-15 minute mark, she'd be at the Capitol by the 30-minute mark, the Hunger Games would begin at the 1 hour mark, and the film itself would be like 2 hours 10 minutes (with credits.)
I've been avoiding this thread like the plague, having only read THG and CF to avoid Mockingjay spoilers. Well bitches be warned, I've nearly finished Mockingjay. I am coming.
In case you were wondering, the reason why I logged on to HPF so late today was because I was finishing up Catching Fire.
WOW. Brilliant ending. I've got to say, I wasn't too thrilled by the first half of the book (it was kind of boring/bland, I don't really like the District 12 scenes) but as soon as the Quell began, things sped up and were epic as usual. I just wish it had started earlier and had gone on longer. The finale of the Quell was really confusing and hazy, I wish she had written more clearly in those scenes, but the reveal of District 13 was stunning and epic. I loved how Finnick turned out to have good motives, and I loved the cliffhanger ending.
All in all, not better than the first book, but a thrilling follow-up and a stunning transition to Mockingjay. I can't wait to get my hands on Book 3.
I think so, it helped the way she had Finnick and them explain it; basically, they had a pre-planned rebellion happening and some of the tributes had a plan to keep Katniss and Peeta alive and then had her transported to District 13 once the Quell was over, and when she destroyed the force field with the lightning, District 13 got her and Finnick and Peeta, Johanna, etc were taken by the Capitol? And there's rebellion in all the districts, District 12 got wiped out?

Yeah, that's right. When she struck the force-field with the arrow, all of Panem went into chaos.
We are just so long overdue for a trailer. So many movies coming out Summer 2012 already have teasers, plus filming is almost done, if not complete, so I think we better get one next month. 8 months away.
The Hunger Games will be the surprise of next year. It had been gaining a fanbase of its own, though rather small, but its spreading through the Potter/Twilight fanbases like wildfire. By the time the marketing kicks up over the holidays, I think many people will get on board. The books are very readable, not as big as the latter potter/twilight books which makes a difference with some people. I just hope it gets its own vibe, I don't want it compared to HP or Twilight to the point where it gets the same type of feel, I hope this is a new drug basically.
"If you make yourself more than just a man... If you devote yourself to an ideal... You become something else entirely- A Legend."
The Hunger Games doesn't even come out in Summer 2012, it comes out a good few months before summer. I've had enough of seeing pictures with the same theme of them walking in a forest, I want to see actual footage with the cinematography and lighting and look and feel of the movie.
I've got a pic on my phone of "Harry Potter y las requias de la muerte" that I found in Barnes and Noble... it was right next to "Accenture" which i believe was breaking dawn.

Over here, in portuguese, the books were translated literally, despite Half-Blood Prince. Over here we call Harry Potter and the Prince's Enigma. Haha lol
Harry Potter y la Piedra Filosofal Harry Potter y la Camara Secreta Harry Potter y el Prisionero de Azkaban Harry Potter y el Caliz de Fuego Harry Potter y la Odern del Fenix Harry Potter y el Misterio del Principe Harry Potter y las Reliquias de la Muerte

Finished Mockingjay for the second time since I've read last year, just as...shocking and sad as the first time. It almost felt like a chore just to get through, and not because it was bad or anything. The events that takes place during the 3rd part is just too much to handle.
I really don't know how they will adapt this book into a movie. Their plan to split it is justified, though.
Not really, that's my worst subject. I just tend to be the one doing this, although usually i don't just do it for the sake of it, ask anyone and they'll agree.
“Yeah, we did,” Burnett said when we asked if Lawrence had recorded anything in the studio. “And it was beautiful. She did great. She’s singing great. Killer actor too.”
About recording Rue’s Lullaby:
“Yeah, we did that. We recorded that,” Burnett said about “Rue’s Lullaby.” “And it’ll be coming out soon.”
While Burnett and [Danny] Elfman are ready to release Lawrence’s recording, the two Grammy winners are only just getting started on their “Hunger Games” work. What they have planned has blown Burnett away. “It’s 300 years in the future, so we can take all sorts of liberties,” Burnett said of the story. “[Elfman's] got an incredible space he’s put together. It’s the most incredible studio I’ve ever seen and he’s got drums and marimbas and a cimbalom — just crazy instruments everywhere. We’re just going to go over there and rock out. I think we’re just going to play together. We’re going to do it together.”

I recommend everybody here, they like Harry Potter too.
They translated Mockingjay to "The Hope" over here. WTF SHIT!
She's the perfect Katniss :X

I understand Philosopher's to Sorcerer's but Mockingjay to Hope? I'm surprised they didn't change Catching Fire to Deception
------------
Los Juegos del Hambre = The Games of Hunger (The Hunger Games
En Llamas = In Flames (Catching Fire)
Sinsajo = WTF?! (Mockingjay)
