But do you think it will happen?
And what do you think they will say to each other? Because David Yates said that they tell personal things to eachother, but I really want to know what!

I think Harry was trying to change Hermione's mind because Ron left them ! Try to make her laugh like " The Weasley cause us trouble"

I agree that Harry is probably trying to lift Hermione's spirits.

I think they will talk about Ron and Ginny.

Also i don't think it will be cut considering it is a favorite scene, but sometimes things do get cut because of pacing. I think the Hermione modifying her parents memories scene seems like the most random.

I believe this scene will be brilliant and the music accompanying will also be so well that is unless Desplat is another Hooper in that he has no music in important scenes for instance Voldy vs Dumbledore in OOTP.
