This might be one of the most interesting Box Office Years ever.
The Favorites:
The Dark Knight Rises
The Hobbit (An Unexpected Journey)
Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2
We Have An Outside Chance:
The Avengers
The Amazing Spider-Man
The Dark Horse:
The Hunger Games
The Verdict: Domestically speaking, The Dark Knight Rises should win this one... Though if the movie is a let down Breaking Dawn could sneak up on it. Worldwide it should go to the Hobbit, but TDKR could impress with expanding markets and of course the WOM from TDK.
The Amazing Spider Man should actually be listed as most likely to flop, its too soon from Spider-Man 3 and of course the release date is 2 weeks before TDKR.
The Avengers will be interesting. Iron Man should help the cause, along with Captain America.. Thor was generally well received, but I can't say the same for the Hulk.
Concerns over The Hobbit should be that it is a prequel, and the first part of that prequel to say the least. All in all it should be extremely interesting, and a battle for the ages.

That's how I would rate them.
I love Nolan, but in BB and TDK, I didn't give a damn about any character, so hopefully he can change that.
