Dolores Umbridge is my favourite as I found her so well adapted from page to screen Also Bellatrix, Slughorn, Snape, Luna, Lord Voldemort and Fenrir Greyback
Umbridge may be a well developed character, but how can you actually LIKE her?! She's a cunt. Straight up.
She may well be that particular expletive, but that's why I like her cos she is so wonderfully bitter and cruel, I love the character!
my favoritye charecter was bellatrix. i remember when i read OOTP. i got the feeling very early on she was not someone who you wanted to trifle with and she proved her prowess again and again. at least untill she went head to head with molly and lost

I think it's fine to have favorite character that unpleasant, the more complicated the characters are, the more interesting they become. It's not like we choose which character we would like to hang out with.

I really loveHarry, I grew up a military brat and we didn't get to stay any where for long. So making friends was kinda hard, either the person you met had to move or you did. Harry had to grow up on his own surronded by hostile people. I really related to haveing to depend on your self for everything.
I love Draco. He's tormented. He wants to be good but he wants to trust his family and be with them but he can't bear killing people. he's a boy thrust into the wrong situation and he is such a good character.
I was at a party and someone asked me this question. I said Snape but he said b4 or after you knew he was good and I said after. I don't know if i can say Snape is my favorite character because I might just be jumpin on the bandwagon. But seeing DH2 in a visual way really made it sink in and clear how bad I feel for Snape. I never thought that much about it until the movie. :-(
I think hermione is esp sarky 2 harry i like that and i like ron cuz he's funny:) fred n george r gr8 2 ultimately i think scabbers (Peter Pettigrew) is awesome \:D/
