Yes, there is a lack of battle, but I can forgive that because just about every scene is thrilling. The Princes Tale was unbelievable.
I want to see it again NOW.
I'm pleased because I know audiences really can ruin movies.
My theater loved it!
My favourite scene has to be Snape's memories.

(the first one we saw it)
The one thing that i found weird was the 2 relatives i went with (who haven't read the books like myself, but i knew the plot already...they didn't) they thought that Voldemort was more "funny" than evil in this one. In the theater as well, when Voldemort kept smiling and laughing at Neville, pushed Bella down, slapped Lucius and when he hugged Draco, everyone laughed while i was sitting there going O.o?
It was a great film and the score was fantastic as well!
~I have NOT read the Potter books, only watched the movies FYI.
That scene in Malfoy Manor though, when he was walking in the pools of blood and whispering Parseltongue to Nagini. Wow, I never thought they would allow that sort of thing in an HP movie.
As for Alan Rickman, I never doubted him. He was flawless. Although my audience did laugh, and I suppose I can see the amusement, when he said "eq.........ual.........ly" in the Great hall. I might grudgingly concede that might be pushing the long pauses towards parody.
honestly, dont you two read?
(:D)
And on a side note, did anyone else notice people watching the duel from under the little roofs around the side of the courtyard? They looked like Death Eaters.
nvm , didnt read it well i guess
