Yah, thats disgusting. 6000!! That will only increase after tonight because of repeat viewers and word of mouth. With social media as big as it is. This movie could do some serious damage at the box office.
It's very frontloaded. Let's see what it will do the next week. It may smash some records this weekend, but it has to keep on doing well.
Well all we can really judge right now is the front end. We know that it'll do amazingly this weekend. There is no doubt there. It should continue to do well because every Potter film has made loads of money. Its just a matter of how well.
Wow, my theater had 5 showings and all of a sudden, on Fandango I noticed they added like 6 more, 2 of them were 2:30. Holy crap this opening will be huge.

That report says we have already earned $25 million... FROM 1,400 LOCATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ITS PLAYING IN 3,800 LOCATIONS!!!!!!!! This midnight number is going to be WAY bigger than previously imagined.

I am still in shock about this. We know there are so many sold out theaters. This is going to dwarf the previous record.
We know fandango reported that it shattered the pre-sale midnight record... And its doing the same at other venues, I personally would still be in shock to see a number north of $40 million for midnight when I wake up tomorrow morning. It has no limit however.
