Bahahah it seems they actually are removing Armond's review! That's hilarious. It might just be staff that got irritated and decided to temporarily throw out his review though haha.
Lol btw guys, on Armonds RT page, it has him listed as giving potter a 4/4. I don't know if it's a prank or a glitch(likely the latter), but it's very funny. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/critic/armond-white/

Where? I don't see dh review listed at all...
It was up for a bit but it removed it. And it actually showed a snippet of the apparent review, and it sounded pretty positive. I don't even know if that was from his actual review, lol, but it's gone now, so whatever.
By the way... HAHAHAHA. I'm laughing at Armond White. And sorry, I'm not going to count a review from a guy that say that Harry Potter is the dullest franchise in whole history. That's pathetic. And the review is back again in RT!

LOL, as awful as this sounds...maybe we should all repeatedly call him the n word (if that's indeed why they removed it) until they remove it for good and don't bother replacing as it causes too much trouble. Or let's think or even worse things to say, are there any? 8->
Well, I wouldn't resort to slurs but perhaps point him in the direction of this article :
Basically, It means an enormous validation for Mrs Rowling. It means she's being lauded for use of language, beyond cloaks, wands, or box office tickets. It means she's being recognized as an artist and as a writer. How wonderful, isn't it? She is expressly compared to Tolkien in the article. That also, though not said in the article, is placing her in the Shakespearean league, scale and differences apart. It is said Shakespeare practically invented the language... and now, Rowling is called a Linguistic Innovator. What a beautiful term. The article says:
Quote
Rowling’s success as a writer is unsurpassed, due in part to her ability to make her imaginary world so accessible.
If he thinks that adaptations of her books are dull, then he hasn't a brain in his head.
Ok @Henrick so the non-RT reviews I have are all positive XD. I double checked and none of these should be on RT, at least not yet, though only a couple are RT critics anyway. Here they are:
Thank you so much for your help, @napilopez. Going to update right now. U are awesome buddy!!! Taking care of this thread is a huge responsibility and I'm really happy with your help buddy. Thanks so much again!
The Dumbledore line he quoted at the end of the review was really good, I'm sorry If I can't remember whether it was in the book or not but I really like how it nods back to the series novel origin.
Do you guys think Ken's review will be another 100 on Metacritic? He doesn't list a rating far as I can see and he only says "one of" the best of the series not the definitive best...but otherwise it reads as a damn near all out rave. Maybe, 90 or 95 maybe?
Definitely a 90+ There's not a single negative line referring to Part 2 in that review, excluding 3d comments. Not one. The worst were his comments on the 3D, which were actually more positive than negative.
Also guys, given that in this thread we are at something like a 97%(counting the mixed as half positives), and that we have a lot more reviews than RT does, even including less notable critics who are quite likely to have esoteric opinions, I think DH2 will definitely remain above 90 and become the best rated of the series. Though I still worry slightly about opening day, we should be good. And I mean, we've already got most of the Top Critics out of the way as well, yet we're still at 100%.
The Salon(another Top Critic) review is up! Positive!
Not the most positive out there, it's quite lukewarm(because he couldn't understand what was going on, go figure), but I don't care as it doesn't have a numberical rating and won't bring the average down XD:
Oh yeah, forgot about Salon...they are pretty negative critics for blockbusters sometimes. Well at least it's mostly positive.
Yea... I'm waiting to see what RT says now. Re-reading it I'm not totally sure if it's positive. I'd definitely count it as mixed in this thread. I think it's leaning positive, especially given the title and concluding paragraph, but I'm not sure.

A tiny, but positive review. Another RT Top Critic. Still at 100%

HELP ME HAHAHAHAHA LMAO
FUCK YES!
I updated the threads with all the new ones from RT
Without his review, we need 111 positives - 4 negatives to get a 97%.

And the Harry Potter Forum % of likes is now 96-98, depending on how you split the mixed reviews.

Once again, I want to thank you all for helping me with the thread. I couldn't do all by myself. You guys are awesome and amazing!
Thank you.
