With a Giant in the background of the Death Eaters and Voldy, and yes Decarus it appears that most people prefer the old version of the house, you and me included!
Yeah fair enough and Godric if you look at other pictures of that particular scene where i think there looking and about to enter the Front Gates of Hogwarts you will see where i think i see a Giant, an eye in one of the other pictures of this in the top left hand corner!
Um maybe not about my 300th comment!, DaShape and if anyone one is there which i think there is, its got to be Hermione if anyone... it sure as hell doesn't look like Voldemort so...
I don't think anybody is there
I ment that it looked like the same background

btw, this part when and where is it? what do you think?
note harry seems to be tied up or something. background looks somewhere high (astronomy tower again?) and what's with the 'why do you live? because I have something worth living for' can't remember this in the book

I think it is after Harry's death that is why Voldemort asks him why he lives and Harry says he has something worth living for. I actually like that line because it echos the line from the end of OotP where Harry says we have something worth fighting for.
I have no idea why Harry is tied up or how he gets out of this. I still don't think it is a dream.
None of the dialogue is going to be from the book.
it really got me intrigued! because he's tied up, it's daylight behind them (so it's morning after the battle?), seems like the clock tower or something, because of the wooden structure held by chains really don't know

^ From my perspective of this scene (if it is not a dream) Maybe it is after Harry's death, when he is brought back to the castle by Hagrid.
Yes, he may hide under the invisibility cloak, and later on reveal himself and start the battle with Voldemort, (I'm pretty sure the battle won't be only in the courtyard)...so the battle starts , and thay move around various areas of the castle (it may inclde the GREAT HALL)... and leads up to the major point in the battle that takes place in the COURTYARD.
my question is this how the heck is he gonna get away from voldermort when he clearly has him right where he wants him he,s tied up (at least it looks like he is i could be wrong)
That is a good question nicholas. My only thought is that Voldemort lets him go and says lets duel or maybe he gets rescued for a moment somehow. It does make me think how in the world would he get out of that and why wouldn't Voldemort just kill him. Maybe they are suggesting that Voldemort wants to know how Harry seems to have become immortal and didn't die which was what he was trying to do with his horcruxes. Maybe this is when the conversation about Harry being the master of the elder wand happens.
ohhhh that would be amazing!!!! i really hope this scene doesnt end up on the cutting room floor during editing. you know what i mean? you see a trailer for a movie but when you go and see the movie the things you see in the trailer are no longer there.
As for people saying that Harry and Voldemort will chase each other all over the castle and fight in many places, I think that's ridiculous. Sure they have dramatised it a little more than the book. That doesn't automatically suggest an extended 5 minute battle. I think what we saw in the trailer will be Voldemort's death. And their battle will just be Priori Incantatem for a minute of so.
As for the scene with Voldemort asking why Harry still lives, if Harry escapes conveniently from that situation, I will not be amused.
that happens a lot they just cut it. i really like this scene it's just making it more intense and it looks amazing the way he says it why do u live for and the way he answers it just amazing. hope they're gonna live it in movie!
suppose it will be like in GoF when voldemort after experlliarming harry says 'get your wand, I suppose they teach you duel classes in hogwarts' or something like that but this time it will be like -why do you live? -because I have something worth living for -you sure? -damn sure -I'll wait you outside, potter. Courtyard. 12 o'clock -bring it on tommy so he releases him and duel. to death. lol

If that was in the movie I'd probably cry laughing (then get mad later but it would still be hilarious).
There's no Priori Incantatem in the Trailer. That effect just represent the shock between two spells. Something like that occurs in the duel Voldemort x Dumbledore. The Priori Incantatem effect involves the ghosts or spirits, for example, and it occurs just with twin wands. In the final battle, there's no twin wands. It's Elder Wand x Draco Malfoy's wand (I guess it's Draco's).
But, yeah, I agree with you when you say what we saw in the trailer is the final moment of the battle; Harry is exhaust; Voldemort is kneeling... I really think that's the final moment.
I was thinking... We can't see the others students or professor or any people involved in the battle in that scene between Harry and Voldemort in the courtyard. And if everyone is hidden? When Harry defeat Voldemort, the people will appear... and the sun will rise... and Ron and Hermione will run toward Harry and hug him... and a completely amazing music will sound... a music of victory. It could be great.
Hi, this is my first time here, to post that is and I was curious about if someone was in the background of that picture so I took the trailer to the windows movie maker and went frame by frame...I don't think that there's anyone there. Here's a pic that I lightened up too...hope it shows up.
Nope it didn't show...any hints on how to post pics would be greatly appreciated, thanks :)
I don't think there is anyone there. It is just very strange that there is a giant hole in the wall. It may be that this is the destruction caused by the backlash when Voldemort tried to kill Harry as a baby, assuming this is the Potter's house which of course we don't know for certain that it is.
Something I'd like to point out about that whole is that it's neat. You know what I mean? It's a near-perfect rectangle, and it doesn't look like someone burst through it.
Yeah i've been wondering that, they must of took the time to make such a hole... a near perfect rectangle shape and now i agree that there is no one in the background because i've looked more closely and its just something on that door, or cabinet, or drawer. Though i do hope Hermione turns up to save the day at least at some point!

To be honest I don't really care about this. What I care about is the whole
