And, now... i think it's time we get back to the whole point of the thread. Don't you? Well, of course you do, you were the one who first mentioned getting back to the point of it!

Lord Stafford.
I am not worried about it. I think most people will be very pleased with the BoH.
Nor am i, overall. But, inevitably... there will be a couple of tid bits that get to us to an extent, though obviously not enough to ruin the whole experience for me.
The funny thing, is that Ron's spell that the DE's turns into smoke from doesn't actually have anything coming out the wand, so it ends up making Rupert look like he is just throwing a tantrum, given his technique.
You know what guys, I think I'm worried about the Battle as well!
The battle is going to suck! I mean, c'mon, NO BATTLING DESKS!??! That was the heart and soul of the book, even though I didn't notice it till my third reading of it. And Dumbledore's backstory was way more important than the horcruxes or the hallows, and the fact it's not included in its entirety makes me think the whole thing will suck.
And despite every review praising Eduardo's work, I think it's terrible and just weird looking. Even though I haven't seen it nor have I watched the clips, I know it's just going to be so rushed given the two hour run time! Also, despite the reviews mentioning bloody sequences and Lavender getting her necked torn, there's not enough action or intense moments.
Overall, even though I've seen about 5 minutes in the film from trailers, tv spots, and the very few clips I've seen, I just know I'm going to be disappointed.

I think the battle is going to be good. But i do think we have seen most of the battling. It looks good though.
I dunno about most. We're supposed to get 30 minutes or so. I think with clips we've maybe had 3-4 minutes tops. Too much for my taste but I feel like there will still be a good amount of stuff.
Well to be fair morse, some interviews claimed it was like Helm's Deep, whereas chace's view completely contradicts that. Meh, I guess if you class hundreds of people flashing torches at one another intense...
Well I have doubts towards Chace
Dounts against me? Whatever. Just becuase my opinion is different to the reviews doesn't mean I haven't seen the film. Do you really think I'd waste a big part of my afternoon answering 90+ of your questions? I've told you plenty of things that have been proven in the new clips etc. Just becuase I didn't recognise that short Snape shot??? Do you really think you would remember 3 seconds from a 2 hr film?
I can't quite see why I am being reported for expressing an opinion, I have not trolled, spammed, attacked any members personally, and have always (tried my best) to keep my opinions civil and respectful.
As for the Battle of Hogwarts, many people are not worried having heard great things in the reviews. Some people are worried, and I am one of them.
Well I definitely doubt it will be 30 minutes of pure battling, but then that would probably be a little excessive, it will be interspersed with other scenes. I just hope it doesn't revolve to much around the courtyard, and I hope we get to see more of the knights fighting that a few seconds, with the same going for the spiders. Yes, I hope we see much more of the spiders.

I don't know. I think when they say 30 minutes they mean with all the scenes inbetween or whatever. You know. We will see. Three days.

I know it wont be 30 minutes of pure battle but whats the difference. We're talking about one sequence. Its 30 minutes long. The book didn't describe in huge detail everyone's exact movements during the battle. It was interwoven with other things happening, which is what I expect here. As far as fighting goes, assuming thats what we are talking about, I still dont think we've even scratched the surface.
Well, the battle is interspersed thorughout scenes. And it's great. I don't think you really see much of the spiders to be honest. There is music in the scenes, it just wasn't in the clip for some reason. The battle is very like the book, you only see it when the trio have to run through it and they show you a bit of it when it begins etc.
