I'm from New York...I was looking at the different Potter movies and MOST of the New York critics always gave Rotten reviews. You don't know how disappointing it is for me to see it...NEW YORK CRITICS BETTER NOT BRING DH2 DOWN OR I'LL TRACK EM DOWN AND GO LUPIN ON THEIR ASS (TURN INTO A WEREWOLF)
New York critics fucking suck...not only do they not like Potter, they don't like Christopher Nolan's films! What the hell is wrong with your people?
It's the critics...they must be mental. New York has ALOT( I MEAN ALOT) of Potter fans...you can trust me on that one but the critics are just...wtf? I really don't know...
~I have NOT read the Potter books, only watched the movies FYI.
If there's one thing I'm disappointed about (and it's probably never been just one thing with the past movies) it's the reaction to the King's Cross limbo scene. That, with the whole Dumbledore and the Deathly Hallows story ("You were the better man Harry") seems to have been given shortdrift. I loved this storyline."
I loved that storyline too, but maybe it would have slowed down the film too much I hope it's at least mentioned that Harry is the master of death. By the way, does anyone know whether they explain that Dumbledore was dying because he tried on the ring?
dude cut it out, stop trolling and post in your thread
Hey man, I've been getting a bigger reach here and since its not bad links either, richard said its ok for me. Im not spamming here. There articles are proper. Check and see for yourself.
If the film gets over 92% (surpassing PoA), I'll be more than happy. If it gets a +95% score, its chances for many awards nominations will explode. If it manages to hold the 100% score (Armond White will give it a positive review, though?), then I'm sure we're talking about a sure Oscar contender.
Well, Variety, Hollywood Reporter, Levy and Empire loved the film and they're some of the most well-known in the U.S. so I think that the reaction will be mostly positive.
That's why I try to be a bit cautious. 90% is my prediction.

Haha, I don't know. I don't expect the film to sweep many awards, but it stays over 90% and the BAFTAs help it a lot, along with a solid WB campaign, it can do wonders at the Oscars. Not any crazy wins, but a lot of nominations (even Screenplay, Picture and Supp. Actor) and a few tech wins.
