I was just looking at the site for the theater I'm seeing DH2 at and I just realized.....it's a 17 screen theater, 16 regular screens and the IMAX screen. All but 1 screen is playing DH2 at midnight.

That's 16 screens of midnight Potter and all of them are sold out.
The theater is going to be crazy and packed with people! :O Especially with the pre Potter Palooza party they're having from 9pm to midnight. Holy crap.
And because I'm bored and really curious....the website has the seats numbered for each screen.....being the dork that I am, I added all the seats up for the 16 midnight screenings. The total comes to 4738 people will be there to see midnight Harry Potter *dies*
The double feature is sold out, as well as the 12:01 3D showing (which I'm going to). But 12:02 3D and 12:30 Digital still have seats...Still though, I'm impressed given the size of my town.
I just checked to see showtimes for Thursday (Midnight) and Friday and Saturday. It's quite unbelievable...there is 5 showings for Dh2 in 2d and 5 in 3D (12:01,12:16,12:35,12:45,1:00) <-- the Thursday night showings, THESE ARE ALL SOLD OUT!<br /> Next i checked for Friday...there's about 15 showings for each 2D and 3D(11:05Am,12:45Pm,1:25pm,1:45,2:15,2:30,3:00,3:15,4:00,4:30,5:45,6:30,7:25,8:00 and 9:30Pm)

I mean...wtf LOL I'd never expect the theater i go to would have it sold out this much...THE MOVIE HASN'T EVEN RELEASED YET LOL!

In my country, there are DH1&2 marathons on Tuesday and there had been only 7 select showings. Well, they were all sold out and they've put another bunch of 9 showings which are to be sold out in a few hours or something! This is massive!

And another just for you, if it crushes the OD record and takes in $80 million or more, is the OW record guaranteed? Or will the sat/sun drop be colossal?

Oh my gosh! The theater I'm attending has added two more shows each for 2:55am! They already had 14 showings sold out. These two are not sold out yet though.

5 shows have sold out in 2D at my theater, 1 in 3D. For my area, this is unprecedented. Part 1 only had 1 sellout for midnight!

My theatre opened their bookings last midnight and its housefull till 21st and almost 22nd (except the night show on 22nd) which will be filled pretty soon...DH1 wasn't as quick as this in filling the seats..
Guys. Over here, since Sunday, there are no more midnight screenings avaiable all around the city. They are all sold out! I'm from São Paulo, Brazil, the 7th largestst city in the world!

The IMAX has 450. But there are two screens that have 573 seats each :O
