There's some critics you can't take seriously, people like Armond White for example. Their bullshit sometimes is so annoying and can't count as a review. Watch out for those and do not count them.

I remember the reaction to the first review for Part 1. IGN UK's 3/5, the worst in the series lol.

I remember very mixed reviews for DH1 the first two days. It was a nightmare. :P

Yeah, you have to take these reviews for what they are: one person's opinion. I find I very often disagree with the critics; it seems like they're always looking for very different things than general audiences are. As long as YOU love the movie, that's what's important! :-D

Honestly, critics opinions now means nothing to me. Who has better judgement of a film, a person who's watched them dozens of times and knows the meaning behind every little scene, or a person who is getting paid to watch it and write some words about it? Exactly...

It probably won't because 'it feels like half a movie.' Honestly, the critics for Part 1 who said 'this feels like a half of a movie,' or, 'it has no ending,' are really stupid. No shit it has no ending, IT'S HALF A MOVIE! smh...

I really wish this wasn't the Theatrical. It's an awesome poster but I wanted something hand drawn. The only thing really hand drawn on this one is Harry.

Yeah, it's not exactly a perfect aggregate but it's the most popular and if you want your movie to be seen by a high amount of moviegoers, they look there first to see if its any good. Of course, for those who dislike critics, Potter movies always have high ratings on RT from the public, if that's worth anything.

Now, the percentages have once more changed a little since our last stalking of the RT reviews, so here is how they stand now, in order of reception, to refresh your memory:

DH1: 79%
SS: 80%
CoS: 83%
HBP: 83%

GoF: 74%
HBP: 75%

In my humble opinion, I think the public is mostly right with the exception of HBP which is waaaay lower than it should be.

Cause a large portion of the ones counted were the idiots who gave it a mediocre rating because it was "felt incomplete" *rolleyes*

If the critics understood it was Part One; the rating would easily have been in the high 80's (go through the R.T and Meta ratings ';) )

I wonder what critics could possibly complain about Part 2. It has action, strong emotional scenes, it's pace is great, it has great production values and great performances.

I imagine they will probably focus on the 3D, how it has no 'beginning' and possibly how it's too emotional.

I don't think that they'll say it has no beginning. I mean, seriously? Then The Two Towers and The Return of the King have no beginning at all. Remember how these films started? Especially The Return of the King...

Well, if the film opens with Voldemort stealing the wand, Snape at Hogwarts and Harry at Shell Cottage recollecting Dobby's death and then planning to invade Gringotts, I don't see anything bad about it. It certainly doesn't have a 'proper' beginning, but it's more than sufficient.

I think they will love the emotional scenes and they'll be pleased with the action. The only thing I see them moaning about may be the 3D conversion, but the twitter people said that it wasn't blurry or distracting, so I think they won't have a problem.

And 3-D doesn't take away from the film if it is bad. Just because a film is in 3-D or not does not effect the story, which is what critics should grade. They are also hypocritical, remember that. I read a review of someone who completely panned Transformers 2 and said 'effects don't make the film better,' which is true, but his review for Avatar was almost all about the visuals and 3-d.

For me, it's almost impossible the movie gets more than 85%. I was checking the Rotten Reviews and, most of them, are written by the same critics. Some of them have been giving rotten scores since Order of the Phoenix. If they don't like the saga, I don't see a reason why they would like Deathly Hallows part 2. They'll find something to complain about!
