Yeah, what's with this shit of just rearranging the footage from the trailer and releasing the same material over and over?

Obviously they have reasons unknown to us why there aren't many new shots yet. That's why I view this as a non-sense complaint. My guess is the shots they want to promote with don't have their vfx done yet. The same thing happened with DH1 promotion, once the VFX were finalized we had TONS of new shots.

Complaining about something when there's nothing they can do about it isn't logical.
If the shots are incomplete, the shots are incomplete. They shouldn't be put in a tv spot. Would you rather they did release more and have more people saying idiotic "The CGI looks like shit!" complaints? Either people are pissed off about not getting enough footage, or they're pissed off because they think the incomplete CGI looks bad. It's lose/lose for WB either way.

Not of which are the probably epic shots they would want to use for promotion. As much as I'd love to see some new shots of Harry, Ron or Hermione talking next to a wall(not being sarcastic here, I would!), I don't think they would excite general audiences too much and depict the war movie feel WB is going for.

To be honest, when you look at all the footage of DH2 we have seen, going way back to the first trailer showing both parts, I think we've seen a lot of footage already.

I know that. You should also understand that Part 2 is full of VFX sequences that need time to be completed. So we'll get a trailer in June and much more new footage will be there.

It's not like Part 1 that had 4-5 major VFX sequences. Almost the entire film is based on VFX. Especially the Battle sequences.

I think they have to have more then two minutes of the film finished at this point. If not then they are behind especially since they need to convert everything to 3D. I agree also about releasing a shot of the trio talking to a wall. I would be in favor of that.

I think that scenes like Shell Cottage, Aberforth talk & Hogsmeade, Neville and D.A, Forest Again, King Cross, Epilogue etc. must have been finished by now.

I think they're waiting for the new trailer and don't want to spoil any stunning shots in TV Spots.

The new tv spot has this shot of the fight when it ends and it's 'grayer'/'foggier'. I'm not worried. Stuart Craig confirmed the sunrise. It's one of those shots that they alter for TV spots and stuff (remember how blue and green some TV spots for DH1 were?)

There is nothing new in the TV spots aside from a few blink or you'll miss it scenes, besides they're not even airing where I live so why would I care? WB fuck us over all the time. They block cinemas from hosting midnight releases, they premiere all footage overseas in the middle of the night, we receive no exclusives. They don't even fucking include the first look at Part 2 on our copy's of the blu-ray, and when people DO upload the footage they have the AUDACITY TO FUCKING BLOCK US FROM SEEING IT.
