Lord of Rings, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Twilight, comic book heroes are the biggest that come to my mind... To a lesser extent: Star Trek, Pirates of the Caribbean, Transformers...

I'm feeling something about Psychics (not the ones that read the future, but they have power like the pokemon did)

It'll be the Hunger Games or The Hobbit.

I would have said the Hunger Games, but then they are going for a March release date with that. And big successful movies never go for a March release date.

Oh I do, but that's why I think it's weird that it's being released in March.

I think Star Trek is right up there with the first four. The first group made fun of for their passion was Trekkies. Just sayin.

I don't know anything about Hunger Games so I can't say one way or the other. The Hobbit will pull in everyone from the LOTR fandom so that'd be my pick.

I hope the Hunger Games. I want them to do it right and I hope it's successful.

Hobbit will no doubt be big.

Oh, so Alice in Wonderland, which came out in MARCH, and it made over a BILLION dollars, was not successful?
Yeah, with the BOX OFFICE GOLD that is Johnny Depp. I daresay he's just a tad better known than eh...Jessica Lawrence. Add to the fact that it's a Tim Burton movie with 3D and was based on a story far older and more famous than The Hunger Games, and you're pretty much guaranteed box office success, any time of the year. Like it or not, the Hunger Games just isn't comparable with Alice in Wonderland in terms of how well known it is, and how well known the cast and crew are. Plus, I'm not sure if Hunger Games is being released in 3D, which as you may have noticed tends to bolster a movie's financial takings considerable. Just saying, if you look at the trends, cheap budget movies or movies that aren't big blockbusters tend to be released in months like March. They all tend not to make as much money, though as you rightly stated there is the OCCASIONAL exception. (There's a reason the one HP movie not released in July or November is the one that made the least money, after all).
