Oh God...it is brilliant!!! However, I am also a bit confused about this dragon- it looks like a dragon from GOF...and these inferi- I really don´t know...But there is so much action! I can´t wait for it...
well the tralier also featured inferi (or at least i thought theses things looked like inferi) spiders and demenotrs in the woods (only place where there are dementors htat i recall is muggle born registration) and these are not the first librites from even the films let alone the books the games have taken so i wouldnt read much into it
I think this answers to your questions and your doubts about the presence of creatures :
Extract of Warner Bros press release
"... The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 videogame is packed from start to finish with action and combat. Players will be on the run, fighting for survival on a desperate and dangerous quest to locate and destroy Voldemort's Horcruxes, engaging with Death Eaters and Snatchers in epic battle sequences at every turn. TO AMPLIFY THE ACTION, PLAYERS WILL ENCOUNTER FEROCIOUS CREATURES FROM THE PREVIOUS FILMS IN ADDITION TO THA ADVERSARIES HARRY FACES IN THE SEVENTH FILM. They will need to muster their most powerful magic against relentless assaults from all sides. There are no more lessons, no more training. This time the danger is real. It's time for players to fight for their lives. "
Very interesting . . . . so we know the DeathEaters are on brooms at the beginning but what's up with the power plant setting? I wonder if that's actually going to be in the film or if it's just for the game?
LOL I'd never thought I'd see a 'muggle' building site as a duelling ground for a Harry Potter game ! Yet, it does convey a 'gritty' vibe. It would be a change to see a setting like that in the movie, I suppose. I really don't mind.
I really like the addition of muggle places, I also love that they are using more on-location shoots. We've seen plenty of fantastical sets but the greater use of location, I think, will give the film a very different feel.
It isn't long now? Twilight comes out on June 29th right? So it'll probably be online sometime during the week before.
This Game trailer has definitely got me more excited for the movie, there is something quite surreal about seeing wizards in muggle-areas and the lack of Hogwarts actually makes it quite refreshing, I mean instead of the trio wandering around the halls we're watching dozens of Wizards battle it out in woodlands, Harry and Hermione surrounded in a snowy village and the trio's tent under attack from Dementors.
I don't recall them ever filming near something like this (not saying they didn't, I just don't remember hence my surprised reaction). If they did I'm game for it :-)
I do remember that now, come to think of it. It was like way at the start of filming and since nobody understood what it was about, so it just got...forgotten, I guess.
I think everyone decided that they were filming there just for a reference for the Lovegood house which is just speculation. It still may be that they were just doing filming for the video game. I can't remember if anyone was on set or not.
I really like the trailer, it really IS surreal to see all the Muggle places and I wouldn't mind if the plant is in the movie. Hey, I wouldn't mind if ALL that action is in the movie. I hope it is. Well, except the Horntail and Inferi, that kind of makes no sense.
Look behin Kelvin (art director for Bright light) do you think it could be the Cover of DH Video Game , our member who visit the studio say that Harry point his hand to Voldemort eyes (like in the trailer)
@richard : In the image of UHP, Harry (on the right of the poster) spells Dementors in the forest with Voldemort cloud on the top... Look at the facebook page ! ... The cover will be similar to HBP videogame cover (Harry alone).
The new HP DH1 game trailer was awesome...............got my heart racing..................can't wait for it to be out............and they are right...........it's not for kids.............its for an older crowd.....
