It's okay, happy days. I can get that you're not interested. I swear, before today I was like I'm not watching any of it, I was sick of seeing it everywhere I go, literally. But then you just get watching it you just can't help but get swooped up in the festive atmosphere of the wedding. I felt so proud to be British, lol.

Even on his brother's wedding day, I'm sure Harry didn't miss an opportunity to say something...well, Harry-esque. I'm more inclined to believe that he made a sly little remark about Kate (the "she's gone" one is my favorite) to make William laugh like that.
I feel like I'm the only person who didn't watch the wedding and doesn't care about it at all. Don't get me wrong, if you were into it that's fine. I just had to hear about it non-stop for the past week from everyone around me . . . then when they'd ask if I was watching and I told them I don't care about it they would look at me in disbelief LOL.

Well, I'd imagine that it has a greater historical context for the Brits, and your excitement over its meaning depends solely on how closely you follow the Royal Family. Technically it is only a wedding, but it's the context that elevates it beyond that for countless individuals.
the royal wedding provided an escape for a lot of people... a real life fairy tale, and stuff. i heard on the radio today that a lady in SanFrancisco quit her job, so she could fly to england for this. the only part i watched was a few minutes when kate and will were sitting at the front of the church listening to a speech. william looked like he wanted to nod off so bad.... lol!
