So...Neville is just going to get the sword?

Since they're no word that Voldemort will burn the Sorting Hat, he will just so up with the hat and just pull the sword out of it randomly?

Thats really the only thing that seems unclear.

    Well, does get the Hat somehow... we just don't know how. There has to be a way.
    Yeah, thats what I'm currently pondering how he gets it.

    I thought the burning was in but it just wasn't added/finished in the film. So no flames appeared.

    how do you know Voldemort is not burning the sorting hat? there's a lot of material that wasn't shown and won't be showed until the premiere, so I'm being optimist and assume Voldemort will summon the hat from dumbledore's office and say 'Neville here is now going to demonstrate what happens to anyone foolish enough to continue to oppose me', and with a flick of his wand, he will cause the Sorting Hat to burst into flames.

    I think Neville is just carrying the sorting hat when the death eaters arrive at the entrance. It isn't summoned and i don't think he puts it on his head.
