Yep, it's not going to make anywhere near what the last one did...and after how poorly received TF2 was it'll be lucky to even make what the first did. Actually I'm going to say $290...if movie going audiences have any sense this will not make more then Inception ($292 mil) did. :-"

True. Wow I can't believe that Inception only made 292M$. It was so heavily campaigned last summer. Same thing goes for Deathly Hallows (295M$). I hope that the Potter promotion will be so heavy throughout July and that the June trailer will be so mind-blowing and close to TF's release, so that the film won't make nearly as much as people predict. :P
I have to go now but when I get home I'll look for more examples of this falling off with the box office for a sequel after the prior had bad word of mouth.

Dunno. I mean, yeah the visuals are amazing, but this looks like another disaster movie and similar to the previous TF films (TF2's trailer was better, I think). And that blonde chick is HILARIOUS. Seriously I was laughing all the time looking at her face. Who the f'ck hired her?

I wasn't really impressed by the trailer, but it was still GOOD. THAT PICTURE IN DARTH'S POST, AND ROSIE'S AMAZING BREASTS- grabbed my attention, though.
Yeah the visuals are stunning, but they don't really impress me because I feel I have seen all that in the previous TF films and in other disaster/robot films in general. Yeah the action looks great, but it's nothing unique. And the first half of it was dead boring.
A day later and I am still excited about. Great visuals. The acting doesn't matter to me in a film like this and it really boils down to good vs evil. I am a sucker for that kind of stuff.
So I've watched it a few more times and I love how Bumblebee runs up the side of the building to save the two people.
I also like that you can see the whole robot in action. No serious close-ups, so you can't tell what's going on. At least with what we've seen so far.
AND....I don't like what I see at around 1:50 with Ironhide. :-S I love Ironhide.
I can't tell much by that shot but I know when they collide they start to transform. Probably will continue to fight after that. I think Ironhide will be alright :-)

I am hoping this is the case, because it cuts away just a second or two too early and you just don't know.
