They then camp for a few weeks discuss the deathly hallows and Harry says Voldemort's name leading to them being captured by the snatchers and taken to Malfoy Manor. Does this happen much the same way in the film?
Does Harry see in a flash Voldemort gain the elder wand at the end of DH Part 1 or does that still take place after the Malfoy Manor scene during Dobby's burial near the beginning of DH Part 2?
Are the trio going to be attacked by death eaters or snatchers while camping on more then one occasion? If so, what will those scenes be like? Where will they take place? In the forest? In a town? Or somewhere else?

Yes Charity Burbage will be seen 'floating' in mid-air. I haven't seen anything with Grawp. I think, though, that they've decided to include Giants in the battle. I think they will show Dumbledore's falling off the tower. I know that they have filmed a bit more last year so that's highly possible. I think that the plan is to show Dumbledore's frefall,the Dark Mark and Rufus Scrimgeour's speech in the beginning of Part 1. Dementors will be somewhere 'in between'. Not as skeletal as in Phoenix and a bit closer to Cuaron's ones. I know Dolores Umbridge wears a pink cloak (dark pink with little dark red as well). I think we do see Thestrals yes. The Cave is the exact same set. Though it is 90% digital. Inferi are included when they pull Regulus underwater and surround Kreacher. I think we see Voldemort going to the Cave, as wells as to the Gaunts house. Ollivander knows the rumors about the Deathly Hallows and discusses them with Harry. They start talking about the Elder Wand and Harry realises Voldemort's after them. I don't think we will see the Tale of 3 Brothers. I don't know anything.

Voldemort is at Numengard and after he kills Grindenwald he flies over the ocean heading to Malfoy Manor. I think that's the temporary ending for Part 1.
Updates: I know that they'll keep shooting the Ministry of Magic sequence next week as well as Harry VS Voldemort in the Great Hall and possibly exterior Hogwarts grounds battles as well. It feels quite strange on set that they're shooting the moment all people have been waiting for.
Ralph Fiennes wraps shooting sometime around Easter. Until late January he will have shot a great deal of scenes (over half of these where he's included).
Well they've been working on these films for such a long time. They want to make the best Harry Potter films. I hope they are going to be as good as they seem to be.
Well Voldemort dies the same way. But there's more action yes. I know that they exchange spells and Voldemort wreaks havoc. The last moment, where their spells collide is going to feel like the ultimate moment everyone's been waiting for. As they collide, the floors cracks and breaks, everyone runs away to escape from the destruction, everything collapses around them and this sequence will have a magnificent landscape. Dark red colours in the sky and Hogwarts tower ruins in the background. Imagine the Great Hall half-destroyed, Voldemort and Harry fighting in the middle and this beautiful landscape surrounding them. I think and hope this will be a really great moment.
With the seven potters scene. Do the pairs go to each seperate house, then apparate outside the burrow and fight and race through the marshes. Or do they fly straight to the Burrow?

Do they discuss the deathly hallows at both Xenophilius' house and then later at Shell Cottage with Ollivander? Do they do that just as a refresher for the second film or because this is when Harry realizes Voldemort is after the wand? Voldemort doesn't know about all three hallows does he?
So is Bellatrix with the snatchers when the trio are captured or does she just meet them at the gates of Malfoy Manor and that is when her dark mark burns? Does the trio get split up while being chased before they are captured?
DH, rumor has it, will capture the same essence as HBP It will probably start with a flashback to Dumbledore falling off the tower. Yates has some new unique camera angles that he used for the whore falling and we wont see all that in HBP. In HBP there will be 4-5 seconds of the falling while in DH there will be more.
After Dumbledore falling there will be a shot of the dark mark and a panoramic shot of the body lying alone on the grass as we go to the clouds and the title appears inside the dark mark .
It cuts to death eaters and snape at spinners end apparating. They are black smoke again and fly in the clouds which have lots of rain revealing Malfoy manor in some dark countryside. Then snape tells Voldemort all about the orders plans. charity Burbage indeed dies but yaxley isnt there to speak with snape in the beginning. Rumor has it bella will be with snape.

I don't think he means that, I think he means the Clock Tower will be a little more seperate from the castle, so they can built something like a outdoor courtyard or indoor hall behind. That gives the creators an opportunity to attach the Clock Tower (Courtyard) to the 'main part' of the castle. Because I remember from the video game of OotP that is was a hell of a journey to reach the Clock Tower from the Entrance Hall. Because it's the only connection to the ground, I think they'll replace some bits of the castle, so the Entrance Hall and the Clock Tower will be 'attached'

There is a scene where Rufus Scrimgeour goes to the Burrow in order to give Dumbledore's will to the Trio. I don't know if Lupin is supposed to be there but I'm pretty certain he is. The Burrow is officially their new Headquarters in Deathly Hallows.
No McGonagall doesn't transform into a cat. But yes she has some action scenes with Death Eaters during the Battle of Hogwarts. The only scene I know that is included is one that happens in a courtyard and McGonagall, along with others, duel with Death Eaters causing the destruction of half the place there.
Fan, I've seen the sneak peek and it's Ollivander. Ollivander knows about the Deathly Hallows yes. Actually he says it's a legend, a myth and describes it. Harry and Ollivander have already talked about the Elder Wand and Voldemort's mysterious journey.
I don't know much about Snape's memories, I'm afraid. But I think the prophecy is included. Expect lots but very short memory scenes.

Official poster? The only poster I know that's been circulating at the studios is the title of the film in front of a completely black background. I think the trailer will be released around Easter or early Summer. Part 1 officially wraps shooting in February. I guess they'll need few months to work on some bits in order to release a nice teaser. I know they've been working on the 7 Potters and Lovegoods' House battle scenes. Especially 7 Potters will be quite difficult and challenging but in the end I think it will be captivating.
I don't have major updates though. They keep shooting at Leavesden. They don't use the exterior sets because of the snow and the bad weather. But they've been shooting lot of scenes at major set pieces: the Muggleborn Registration Commission set, the Ministry of Magic Atrium, the Great Hall, the Astronomy Tower, battlements, Great Walls and corridors of the Hogwarts Castle. Filming the Ministry battle will wrap very soon from what I know. And it will turn out to be an extraordinary sequence. The duel with Umbridge and the Death Eaters is being filmed as well as the exit of the Muggleborns and the Trio to the Atrium which causes a major skirmish before the Trio manages to apparate to the woods. Dementors are also included in the sequence but I am sure they've filmed that bit. I guess they want to wrap shooting the Ministry scenes as soon as possible in order to fully focus on the Battle. Ralph Fiennes has wrapped all his scenes for Part 1 as well. The Gringotts sequence was partially shot in late Summer and Autumn of 2009 but there are bits shot in January and others to be shot in February. That's all I know. I've got to leave now. I'm ill and I need some rest. Hopefully I'll be able to visit the site almost every day after the end of February. a few questions: is there a ravenclaw tower/common room set? so is there a scene with mcgonagall, harry and luna? and is mcgonagall talking to the students in the great hall before the battle of hogwarts?
Do they discuss the deathly hallows at both Xenophilius' house and then later at Shell Cottage with Ollivander? Do they do that just as a refresher for the second film or because this is when Harry realizes Voldemort is after the wand? Voldemort doesn't know about all three hallows does he?
So is Bellatrix with the snatchers when the trio are captured or does she just meet them at the gates of Malfoy Manor and that is when her dark mark burns? Does the trio get split up while being chased before they are captured?
Can you confirm any of these ?
DH, rumor has it, will capture the same essence as HBP
It will probably start with a flashback to Dumbledore falling off the tower.
Yates has some new unique camera angles that he used for the whore falling and we wont see all that in HBP. In HBP there will be 4-5 seconds of the falling while in DH there will be more.
After Dumbledore falling there will be a shot of the dark mark and a panoramic shot of the body lying alone on the grass as we go to the clouds and the title appears inside the dark mark .
It cuts to death eaters and snape at spinners end apparating. They are black smoke again and fly in the clouds which have lots of rain revealing Malfoy manor in some dark countryside.
Then snape tells Voldemort all about the orders plans. charity Burbage indeed dies but yaxley isnt there to speak with snape in the beginning. Rumor has it bella will be with snape.

I don't think he means that, I think he means the Clock Tower will be a little more seperate from the castle, so they can built something like a outdoor courtyard or indoor hall behind. That gives the creators an opportunity to attach the Clock Tower (Courtyard) to the 'main part' of the castle. Because I remember from the video game of OotP that is was a hell of a journey to reach the Clock Tower from the Entrance Hall. Because it's the only connection to the ground, I think they'll replace some bits of the castle, so the Entrance Hall and the Clock Tower will be 'attached'

You said in an earlier thread that there is a scene where McGonagall fights many death eaters. Could you expand more on this (if possible). Is it just her vs. lots of Death Eaters? (ie. 1 vs many) Where does the fight take place?
Also, does she transform into a cat at all? We haven't seen her do that since the first one, and I think it'd be a nice thing to see one last time.

No McGonagall doesn't transform into a cat. But yes she has some action scenes with Death Eaters during the Battle of Hogwarts. The only scene I know that is included is one that happens in a courtyard and McGonagall, along with others, duel with Death Eaters causing the destruction of half the place there.

I've seen the sneak peek and it's Ollivander. Ollivander knows about the Deathly Hallows yes. Actually he says it's a legend, a myth and describes it. Harry and Ollivander have already talked about the Elder Wand and Voldemort's mysterious journey.
I don't know much about Snape's memories, I'm afraid. But I think the prophecy is included. Expect lots but very short memory scenes.
Yes there is a scene where Harry and Hermione go to a large meadow/valley and see burned caravans. It's been filmed months ago, I think.

The only poster I know that's been circulating at the studios is the title of the film in front of a completely black background.
I think the trailer will be released around Easter or early Summer.
Part 1 officially wraps shooting in February. I guess they'll need few months to work on some bits in order to release a nice teaser.
I know they've been working on the 7 Potters and Lovegoods' House battle scenes. Especially 7 Potters will be quite difficult and challenging but in the end I think it will be captivating.
I don't have major updates though.
They keep shooting at Leavesden. They don't use the exterior sets because of the snow and the bad weather. But they've been shooting lot of scenes at major set pieces: the Muggleborn Registration Commission set, the Ministry of Magic Atrium, the Great Hall, the Astronomy Tower, battlements, Great Walls and corridors of the Hogwarts Castle.
Filming the Ministry battle will wrap very soon from what I know. And it will turn out to be an extraordinary sequence. The duel with Umbridge and the Death Eaters is being filmed as well as the exit of the Muggleborns and the Trio to the Atrium which causes a major skirmish before the Trio manages to apparate to the woods. Dementors are also included in the sequence but I am sure they've filmed that bit.
I guess they want to wrap shooting the Ministry scenes as soon as possible in order to fully focus on the Battle.
Ralph Fiennes has wrapped all his scenes for Part 1 as well.
The Gringotts sequence was partially shot in late Summer and Autumn of 2009 but there are bits shot in January and others to be shot in February.
That's all I know. I've got to leave now. I'm ill and I need some rest.
Hopefully I'll be able to visit the site almost every day after the end of February. Much much more free time.And I'll give you few parts of the only parts of the script I've got (only Part 1 I'm afraid). Anyway I've got to go.

I guess if the boathouse is the one we see in the videogame, Harry, Ron and Hermione will go to the Great Hall and then to the Courtyard and then they'll run down the protection walls that lead to the small boathouse next to the lake.
Interesting but I'd love to see them fighting the Giants and the Dementors at Hogwarts Grounds.Or maybe they do go to the Grounds (remember Heyman saying that Harry fights A LOT more than in the book where he's hidden under the Invisibility Cloak?) and then he sees Voldemort searching for Snape and then they go to the boathouse. Anyway...I am really curious to see how the whole scene will be portrayed.
