There also has to be a celebratory scene after Voldemort's death in which the students and faculty of Hogwarts are burning the dead body of Voldemort in a bonfire, singing Kumbaya and holding hands as they do so. Now that would be potent imagery, would it not?

Snape should utter a Wilhelm scream, as well. Then, in a CoS-esque post-credits scene, it's discovered that Nagini's bite only paralyzed him. As he's laying on the floor in the boathouse, slowly dying as the chorus of Kumbaya is drifting down from above and Harry is giving a speech about the "bravery of Severus Snape", he starts shouting that he's still alive -- barely. His protests are drowned out by the singing and revelry.

In all seriousness, since Sirius instead of dying immediately (and Cedric to an extent, with his tiny, nearly inaudible shout/scream as he fell by the hand of Wormtail) prefered the rather theatric death of crying like a kid in front of Harry, lol... I think Voldy absolutely has to have something of that sort, except he doesn't have to cry. There also has to be an oh shit moment in his face/eye's (much like the one when the fire came back at him from Dumbledore) along with possibly having the evil sucked out of him (by Justin Bieber ;-)) like when Voldy was pushed out of Harry by Harry's love, i could see (and still can) black stuff (smoke or whatever) coming/dragged out of Harry's chest/stomach.

Finally, a vacant expression, simply put... need's to be seen on Voldy's blank face and eye's, NOT a pathetic closed eye's version and definetely NOT a lack of Voldy being dead shown on camera, just laying there... proceeding to him thrown off the viaduct, then used as a volleyball by Grawp and the other giants, being set on fire by a dragon and eaten by the giant squid, haha!
