Coincidence or Copy?

I was reading The Lord of the Rings a few days ago and i read a couple of names that sounded familiar, they are as followed;
Tobold Hornblower of Longbottom in the Southfarthing and The family of Butterbur who own the Prancing Pony (a pub)
Longbottom = Neville
Butterbur = Butter Beer
These names were within the same paragraph, Disscus...

It's a difficult book to read, though I read it when I was eight. They are very good books.
