I don't know who decided to keep the Snatcher's chase silent

But THANK YOU for it!

Seriously, kept the suspense so much tighter and intensified the horror of the world falling apart around the trio.

If it were Yates, thank you my man. Brilliant move IMO.

It was a risk to take, especially in a blockbuster like this. Thankfully, it worked.

This seemed to be the film for bold decisions. This, and the 3 Brothers animation. Hopefully they'll pull something like that out for Part 2.

the snatcher chase was terrific, one of my favorite action sequences of all of the films.

I came in here expecting someone bitching about how it didn't have bombastic action music.

thisishogwarts, you never fail to restore my faith in mankind. Thank you.

So what if the battle of hogwarts goes without any background score..Will it really look nice?

I liked the silence, but the editing was terrible. After they started running, you could barely see anything because they kept the camera way off the people they were supposed to focus on.

    The cinematography was epic.
The lack of music was epic. They let the sound effects make the scene intense.
And I really really loved the editing.
First time I saw it, I felt it was way too dizzy, but next time I saw it...it was terrific.
Seriously this is the most unique action scene in the series.

I bet in some scenes, there will definitely be no background score. I can just imagine it being silent for a part of the battle, perhaps if there is a deafening blow near Harry?
Probably. There are some moments in LoTR battles where you just don't hear any music. Just sounds of battle. It makes it seem much more real, though too much would be excessive.
