We want to do that yes. We are actually going to put a good amount of effort into this type of feature. We want to add more reactions that fit well with in your community so that you can mark stuff as "funny" or "insightful" or "off-topic" for example.
Our goal is for you guys to be able to keep track of the great stuff you post here when you come back later. Or maybe a new person comes to the forum and they want to see what some of the greatest hits are, stuff like that. Liking content is also just a fun little feature so we want people to just use it for fun too.
Only moderators can see what content is flagged as abusive. We don't want people to feel like tattle tails.
But I know there's been problem with trolls in the past. We want this to be a fun community and we know you guys all work hard at making people feel welcome here. We just want to give your moderators the tools to make their jobs easier.

That's clever, thank you for that. So is the "spam" button just an all-around tool for everyone, or just moderators? Does it just flag the post as spam?
Wow, the spam and abuse buttons are going to come in so useful. We won't have to go through a thread to look for spam or fights. But then I hope the members don't misuse this feature by reporting like a hundred posts everyday. Please only report those posts which really are not fit for the forum.
