More like blow them up.
I foresee this project to be a disaster...
Well, then there's potential for it not to suck.
-2 hours of battle, 1 min of prince tale, no resurection stone...
But anyway, I hope he won't destroy this saga that I loved as a kid.

no but seriously. Ugh Bay is crap. Every other tmnt film has been junk. Nothing compares to the original series that I grew up with
It's kind of like how people believe that Guillermo del Toro directed The Orphanage. He only produced it, but the trailers say "from Guillermo del Toro" because people recognize the name and not the name of the actual director. It's a very, very annoying and common mistake.

So Crucify the ego, before it's far too late, to leave behind this place so negative and blind and cynical. And you will come to find that we are all one mind, capable of all that's imagined and all conceivable.
"Fans need to take a breath, and chill. They have not read the script. Our team is working closely with one of the original creators of Ninja Turtles to help expand and give a more complex back story. Relax, we are including everything that made you become fans in the first place. We are just building a richer world.

So now they apparently are going to look like samurais? lmao
Producer Michael Bay has created controversy just by having his name connected to the remake of “The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” franchise. Now “Ninja Turtles” co-creator Kevin Eastman has sketched an illustration of what the newly imagined turtles might look like.
Wearing more armor and sporting more weapons than one of King Arthur’s knights, the metal suit resembles a samurai more than a ninja, which actually plays against the newly christened “Ninja Turtle’s” title. Some sites are comparing the illustration to a Transformer in reference to producer Michael Bay’s robot trilogy background.
The sketch was sent as a gift to hip-hop artist Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi) by homies Andrew Form and Brad Fuller at Platinum Dunes. Cudi may be involved with Michael Bay’s “Ninja Turtles” reboot. He also tweeted:
“To everyone with doubts & concerns about the new TMNT reboot, trust me, there is NOTHING to worry about. Trust. Everyone will be pleased!”
“Ninja Turtles” will be released by Paramount Pictures under the Nickelodeon Movies label on December 25th, 2013. Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec are writing the screenplay based on characters created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. Jonathan Liebesman (“Wrath of the Titans”) directs.

I'm skeptical about the film, but not for ANY of the reasons people are shitting the bed over.
1. Michael Bay is not the director
2. Michael Bay is not the writer
3. whether they're aliens or mutants, who honestly thinks that has any effect on the actual quality of the movie?
4. Kevin Eastman (the original creator) is HEAVILY involved in the process and thinks that they're doing some awesome things with it
Leaked concept art and the turtles being aliens aren't going to have any influence on the film whatsoever. People need to be more concerned about the fact that Jonathan Liebesman is directing it. That is a legitimate, bona fide reason to be worried. For some stupid reason everyone keeps yelling at Michael Bay, when Michael Bay will merely act as a producer because its being made under his production studio. The actual producers, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form, are not Michael Bay.
Just clearing that up. Again I have little faith in the movie, but at least my skepticism comes from realistic and factual evidence and not from internet circle-jerk bitching.
Man, have you ever asked yourself why the producers receive the Oscar of Best Picture instead of the directors? They strictly control everything about it and they have the final word. So, don't try to save Michal Bay ass, because it was his decision to make an adaptation and you can be sure that his opinion counts a lot.
