I for one find it to be a legitimate and interesting debate, he raises some excellent points about the complete absurdity of giving something a specific score due to the nature of positive and negative nuance that exists in everything created by a human being.

Hrm. My well-spoken nature and the fact that I'm very straightforward about my opinions may make it seem that way at times, but the problem is, you're just seeing text. I won't dock you for having a misinformed perception of my personality because I know how hard it is to "read" people just by what they say on the Internet.

However, I will leave you with this-- I am most certainly not conceited, nor am I a douche in any capacity. If you wish to further believe this, there's nothing I can do about it, only ask that you give me another shot. Again I may post things on occasion, especially if I'm in a particularly wound-up or excited mood, that may tell a different story about my personality but I assure you that it's either myself going for effect, or over-dramatizing the topic at hand just for shits and giggles.

I like some signatures here, and while it does frighten me to some degree as to the level of pure insanity that he has over Ron and Hermione, it's his decision and his work and I am certainly no one to tell him what to do, nor do I necessarily, in hindsight, want him to do anything about it. It's a fan message board, things like this will be present, so I can accept that and deal with it.

It's just that when I post a topic that I actually wanted to discuss and get "lol" from the first post, the first thing that comes to mind is that he thought I was posting a silly topic. If he explained his opinion or even said nothing but "I agree," that would have been a-ok, but I don't know how to read "lol" other than "laughing out loud" which is in no way a signal that he agreed with me. Thus, my attack on his signature.

Long story short, I am sorry for that as well.

IGN gave it the perfect score, and rightly so. Gamespot saw niggling at tiny things as an excuse to give it a lesser score than it warranted, and that makes them suck.
