As far as popcorn flicks go, it's as good as it gets. But there is nothing much going for it other than that.

I'm definitely going to have to agree and also mention that I was only bothered in the large special effects scenes with the buildings falling, I didn't see any human movement. It almost took me out of it. The streets were almost bare in some shots and there were shots with people and then they disappeared. I'm a person that really checks for details in movies lol. I was actually wondering if anyone else noticed this. The only other thing that bothered me was John Cusask...lol Him and Nicholas Cage are my least favorite actors haha. Well except for when Cage was in Kick-Ass and who could ever forget the infamous line from Con-Air "Put...the bunny...back...in the box..." lololol

It's not a great film, but it's highly entertaining and will keep you thrilled. It doesn't need to be an Oscar-A movie, does it. We seem to forget theres reasonably o.k films out there for our entertaiment purposes purly.

I am definitely going to have to agree to this. Its may not be Citizen Cane lol but its a good movie to either watch if your bored or with a group of friends.
I mean the earth itself doesn't cease, but the world as we know it that exists now stopped. They were trying to form a new life at the end of the film so pretty much.

I liked it when I went to see it in the cinema so I've now got it on Blu-Ray and recently watched it again. I really liked it.
