I watched Atlantis last night and I love Howl's moving castle!
Is that a concept illustration for his funeral that was cut? Man, does it look beautiful, as opposed to the confined and dark courtyard crowded with people.

Oh and it was, in the novel. Leave it for Yates to screw it up.
I dunno what happened, but Yates managed to suck all the emotion out of it somehow.
So you're saying the wand raising + dumbledore's farewell was not emotional in the slightest?
Only for a few seconds when the camera didn't focus on Dan's face. But I meant the actual death scene, not the aftermath. That was completely devoid of emotions.
It's too fucking bad you can't appreciate good emotion. Don't lash out on me and my opinion, ok.
I can appreciate it. I loved the book and the movie, they were both incredibly emotional. Saying I can't appreciate good emotion when I love both the book and movie isn't a comeback at all, so try again.
Look, people react differently to different things. Case in point, I found Cedric's death scene quite sad, which I know that some didn't, but I didn't even care at Yates' presentation of how Dumbledore, one of my favourite characters, was sent flying down the tower. It may have to do with the fact that I knew it was coming, but a great director would have made me care regardless.

I was discussing about the wand raising part with Morse. I can see how you might think Dumbledore's death wasn't emotional when he died, it was for me, but I really do not understand how you could think the wand raising wasn't emotional in the slightest, which is what morse is going on about.
Personally I found the death emotional, but it's definitely subjective. I don't see reason to bash someone for not finding a particular scene emotional. For example I didn't find Titanic or Old Yeller emotional at all, though I know plenty of people did. Sometimes a scene works for one person, but not for another.
Why the hell can't both of them be emotional? Is it impossible for you to have both be good? Book and film are different medium. Pumpkinjuice has a valid reason behind their saying of DD's death wasn't emotional, you really don't.
How To Train Your Dragon, is by far the best animated movie ever. Has the best score out of any movie also imo (Forbidden Friendship is jaw dropping, and the best part in the movie). Saw it 3 times in 3D.

We're talking about the goddamn film, in in the film, that part was extremely emotional. If you can't see it, well that's too fucking bad.
