For me, it would be a shame if this movie wouldn't get an Academy Award cause it's so beautifully done. If you already have some Oscar-favourites in your mind, you can list them here :-)

Here's my list:

Best Actor in a Leading Role: Michael Gambon
Best Actor in a Supporting Role: Jim Broadbent, Alan Rickman
Best Actress in a Supporting Role: Helena Bonham Carter
Best Cinematography: Bruno Delbonnel
Best Directing: David Yates
Best Score: Nicholas Hooper
Best Visual Effects: ....
Best Picture: David Heyman, David Barron

Best Cinematography (if it doesn't win this, there's something wrong with the world)
    Best Art Direction
    Best Visual Effects
Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Jim Broadbent)
    Best Score: Nicholas Hooper

And I'm not sure I can see it happening, but I would love David Yates to win for Best Director and for HBP to at least get nominated for Best Picture.

yep, I agree. I would be upset if Bruno Delbonnel wouldn't win the Oscar for "Best Cinematography".
