Guys, It's Called The "MTV" Awards. Who watches MTV? Teenagers. It's practically"The Teenage Choice Awards". It's stupid and immature. What else would you expect. Most teenagers don't know jack-didly-squat about movies. All they know is that they are so full of lust, and Twilight is like a legal porn for them.

It's the fucking MTV Movie Awards, where every conceivable blockbuster receives a nomination along with low-end Adam Sandler comedies. I would have died of shock if Twilight, being their favorite franchise, didn't win the majority of the awards, regardless of whether or not its fellow nominees were more deserving (on the other hand, though, who is going to say that Black Swan was the "MTV Movie Award-winning picture of the decade?).

I honesty don’t see the reason to be hurt over Twilight winning, probably, the most un-prestigious awards of the year. Really, it sort of just highlights how whiney and obsessive the Potter fandom actually can be that they feel to aggravated and, perhaps, threatened by Twilight’s success in certain demographics (aka teenage girls). I mean, really, what sort of awards are ‘best kiss’ and ‘Oh shit, moment of the year’? Of course, this could be many fans revealing their denial at their secret love of Twilight series as well….dun, dun DUN :-S

Harry Potter is like the mature dad who drops their 13 year old daughter, Twilight, off at the movies every Friday! Friday! night. Mature and well made films like Inception and Deathly Hallows Part 1 just aren't the in-thing to this kind of audience. Did you hear them scream when Taylor, yet again, ripped his shirt off in the Breaking Dawn clip? Yes. That is what the target audience likes. They don't care for emotion and cinematography, art, proper character development. Doesn't mean a single fucking thing to these people.

Nice post darth. LOL The part I underlined......that is just it. Whenever I see an article somewhere on Twilight, all the posts are the same....."Rpattz is so hot!!" "Jacob is so hott!!!" "OMG hot hot hot!!!" Because there is really, not much more than that to Twilight.
