The great thing is that it looks simple but carries so much symbolism and implication. Luke walking forward, toward the light. Anakin walking backwards, into the shadow.
Plus, it's actual, you know, ART. Not a Photoshop clusterfuck of a thousand faces. It's stunning. Warner Bros.? Take notes. Thanks.
There are just too many fundamental issues with the storytelling of Phantom Menace and Clone Wars for me to regard them as worthy companions to the original trilogy, although I tolerate Revenge of the Sith (Hayden Christensen's monumentally terrible performance and the consequent inability of me to care about the central predicament of his descent notwithstanding).
I thought Episode II actually had a cooler plot with Obi-Wan off on a mission to crack a mystery than most of the OT films but whatever. I never got the prequel hate. Yeah there's bad acting. Guess what. The OT has bad acting too.
They should release something like this for Potter, bring Struzan out of retirement to create a tearjerking piece of cover art for the entire box set. That would be stunning.

I think if you're not a fan of SW you'll find the artwork boring, 'cause you obviously don't know or understand the story, but for the fans it's pretty meaningful.
I'm holding off on buying both LoTR and Star Wars for Blu-Ray.
But that artwork is great. I don't like the prequels as much as the OT, but I do not think they are nearly as bad as people make them out to be. I do really like Episode III.

Unseen 'Return of the Jedi' deleted scene. It is supposed to be on the blurays.
