In the second book, Snape finds Harry and Ron who arrive late at school. In the sixth book Harry arrives late at school and has to go at the castle with him.
Book 1- Ron sees his heart's deepest desire in the Mirror of Erised on Christmas night. Book 7- Ron sees his deepest fears in the locket horcrux on Christmas night.
(I forgot who stated this, but I do remember reading it somewhere.)
Alcohol and calculus don't mix. Never drink and derive.
I think there are real connections between 1 and 7. Such as Harry learns the first part of what happened the night his parents died in SS and then learns the full story in DH. Hagrid carrying Harry in both. Harry on Sirius' motorbike first coming to the Durlsey's and then leaving them. Gringotts and Griphook. Then there is the first showdown between Voldemort and Harry and then the last.
I think that there is similar connections across in all of them. Like in 2 and 6 which are the second and the second to last. We first learn part of Voldemort's past in CoS and then learn more of his history in HBP. Harry defeats the first horcrux in CoS and then Dumbledore destorys the second in HBP and they learn what they are. Then in 3 and 5, Harry learns about Sirius and thinks he is trying to kill him and finds his godfather and then in 5 they become close and Harry ends up losing Sirius.
It is like the story that began in each parallel book begins and ends with those books. The story that began in 3 ends in 5, the story that began in 2 ends in 6, and the story that began in 1 ends in 7.
3 and 5: Lupin encourages more hands-on methods and is the best DADA teacher, while Umbridge doesn't let them do magic at all and is generally considered the worst one.
2 and 6. In 2. Harry goes to Borgin and Burkes for the first time. Draco first looks at the hand of glory and learns that it can be used to see in the dark. Harry hides in the vanishing cabinet.
Then in 6. Draco uses the same vanishing cabinet to get into Hogwarts and the hand of glory to help the death eaters run through the darkness powder. And we learn more about Borgin and Burkes and how Voldemort work there for a time.
I also think there are connections between 1, 4, and 7. Like Harry first learns about the blood connection in 1 and then in 4 Voldemort uses Harry's blood and doubles their connection and then in 7 that doubled connection keeps Harry alive when Voldemort tries to kill him in the forest.
Also in 1 Harry first sees his parents in the mirror and then in 4 he is able to see them briefly and speak to them during the priori incantatem and then in 7 he speaks to them as they walk together in the forest again.
Maybe Trelawney's prophecies. She first gives a prophecy to Harry in 3 and then we learn her part in the prophecies surrounding Harry's parent's deaths in 5.
1-Dumbledore lies Harry about what he sees at the mirror of Erised. 7- Harry discovers what he would see at the mirror of Erised (all his family united)
Book 1- Voldemort wants to use a stone to bring him to life to bring his evil back into the world. Book 7- Harry uses a stone to help him to his death to take evil out of the world.
Book 2- The DADA teacher is Lockhart who is physically attractive, yet incompetent. Book 6- The DADA teacher is Snape who is not good-looking, but very competent in the subject.
Book 2- Ron and Harry use Polyjuice Potion to turn into Crabbe and Goyle. Book 6- Crabbe and Goyle use Polyjuice Potion to turn into two girls.
Alcohol and calculus don't mix. Never drink and derive.
I think that the only books which could have a triple connection (that book and others two) are the first, the fourth and the seventh books. At the same time, you can discover connection between one of them and another book of the saga.
There are a BUUUUNCH of connections, from 1 - 7... I can remember that in SS, Hagrid mentions briefly that a young man named Sirius Black lend him his motorcycle..

Harry and Ron argument ;-)
We see Krum and Fleur. Plus Harry and Ron have a fight. Also, in GoF LV rises and in DH he dies. MoM scenes, too.
Harry victorious at the end. A clue about how the saga will end.
Priori Incantatem.
Book 7- Ron sees his deepest fears in the locket horcrux on Christmas night.

3. Godrics Hollow
4. Xenophilius Lovegood
5. Malfoy Manor
6. Gringotts
7. Battle of Hogwarts
1 and 7 feature more Order members and Death Eaters. They are both the biggest battles in the book. Harry and Voldemort face off in both of them.
2 and 6 both feature disguises and the trio trying to sneak in somewhere to steal a horcrux.
3 and 5 are the "close calls" where Voldemort almost gets there and gets them.

Until 5 Harry is always thinking that is like Snape could read in their heads ! In fact in the 5 we learnt that this is the case .
6- Harry understands the conversation between Morphin, Marvolo and one of the Ministry´s employees because he knows that language.
haha
