The Royal Wedding
...was INTENSE! Straight out of a fairy tale, I swear. I didn't even mind that I had to wake up at 2am to watch it on the Pacific coast and still have to go to school.
For all those in the UK, what are your plans of celebration today?

On a side note. Someone made the comment about "fairytale" and that we shouldn't because of the Prince Charles & Diana deal. I was 11 when they got married and remember it. The biggest difference (and this was backed up by some of Diana's closest friends) is that Charles & Diana were basically an arranged marriage. He was in love with Camilla (but, she was married). So their was never any real bond between them. Whereas Will & Kate did fall in love and actually enjoy being with each other. When Kate was younger she had a Prince William poster on her wall. So in a way it is a fairytale. A commoner marrying the prince.
On one news channel, some English guests said that she cannot be Princess, only Duchess, but other news reports say she's a Princess. How does it all work?

One reception guest tells Us Weekly, "The reception was lovely. We had to hand our phones in to the cloakroom and were given them back after. Two speeches were made; one from the Prince of Wales and one from Prince William. Prince Charles's speech was just fantastic. He thanked the staff and made a toast to the Queen. He also said how proud he was of Kate and welcomed her into the family. Kate was just immaculate! She had a huge smile on her face the whole time and was just beaming."
It was terrible. The acting was so bad and you could tell half the scenes weren't filmed in London at all, lol :-))
I love how William's mate was like "old boy" during the skiing scene, honestly, no one says that anymore, lol. That was such an American touch from their perception of how people from the UK speak!
Anyway, a great day
