Maybe I'm missing the part that makes this news so exciting. He's a good actor but I'm not sure what makes this some kind of end of the world breaking bulletin.
on the radio this morning the movie critic here was ripping the casting of anne hathaway as cat woman. the guy was saying she doesn't have the "edge" to to play that part. maybe, nolan can bring it out of her?
Well I thought Batman sucked until Nolan got his hooks into the franchise so I'll give the Catwoman idea a chance and give them the benefit of the doubt.
At the time I thought it was blasphemy that ANYBODY else would play the Joker after Jack Nicholson's performance but guess what . . . Heath was better.
The interviewer then asked him why Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy were chosen for the roles of Selina Kyle and Bane. Again, Nolan didn’t give too much information away, but he did smirk when he said:
“Once you see the film in 2012 you will completely understand why they were the perfect choice for these characters.”
