Intersting Tidbit that May Be Far-Fetched
OK, so I was watching the Possession scene from OOTP on Youtube, and one user posted an interesting tidbit that I thought would be worth noting. This may seem exaggerated and far fetched and totally impossible, but they said that Harry (while being possessed in the vision) smashes the Mirror of Erised and shards of glass fall to the floor.
I've always thought the smashing-the-mirror part was an odd thing to include and it raised the question of whether Harry, somehow magically, obtained a shard of glass from that mirror and it turned out to be the shard in Deathly Hallows. This is nonsense in book-verse, but in movie-verse do you think it possible? Instead of Sirius giving Harry the shard, he magically obtains it after smashing the mirror and being possessed, not discovering it until the events of Deathly Hallows.
You can watch the video here and skip to 1:59 to see Harry smashing the mirror.
It's the only way I can think of Harry getting the shard where the films are concerned.
