Someone posted this on imdb, quoting an article from a magazine. John Richardson is an effects guy on Potter.

John Richardson: " I think my favourite scene in the entire movie is the beginning of Voldermort's attack on Hogwarts. There is a series of explosions that blow up the court yard and the front of the castle, which is predominately all live action and physical. David Yates and I talked about what he wanted and he wanted destruction. For me it's the hero shots you do in a movie that looks good, looks real and gives me a kick at the same time. You can't really do that any other way than do it for real."

Once the protection was down, look closely as shower of fires go down to Hogwarts which destroys the courtyard. I think that was the explosion he meant

some people at my work were asking me about the elder wand and i told them that draco has the powers of the wand and they asked why voldy shoots lightning im like theyre just messing with the audience voldy is powerful he just did that for fun LOL!

regarding the lightning, it is in the book. maybe JK wrote it for a dramatic effect I think Voldy wants the elder wand to kill harry and be more powerful than ever

yeah I know All im hoping now is to hear some new on the PRINCE´S TALE and when i hear that and know 4 sure they wont fked that Ill be completely excite 4 this movie!!!

How long would u think the scene might be? like i said, i´d like it to last 10 minutes or so...
and have every thing in the book...form lily and petunia to snapes lost love...once i remember reading somewhere daniel said most of the prince tale scene takes place in "THIS ROOM" (The interview was taking place in dumbledores office) wich concerns me a lot...let´s hope everything´s in

There's a certain argument for that."

Maybe Daniel meant that the "key scene" is when he finds out he is a horcrux in Dumbledore and Snape's conversation in the office. I think pretty much that most happen in the office except for the beginning of the memory but the last set of memories happens mostly in Dumbledore's office. So no worries

Holy sht. If thats what happens, then I have no reason to have doubt in Yates making the battle epic. Its like giant fire meteorites falling and crashing into things. Total chaos. The image in my head seems epic, so can't wait to see it on screen.

I think he just meant that it's the room where he watches the memories. I don't think he was talking about the locations within the memories themselves--no worries! Not that we know for sure whether some of the memories will be left out, but there isn't much they CAN leave out of the Prince's Tale. I just hope it's easy to follow and not like the flashy visions in DH1.... I assume it'll be in much the same format of the memories in HBP.
