That is a new pic of Hogwarts because it has the Astronomy Tower, whereas the Thestral shot does not.

Yes, the rig leads me to believe these are real. Plus, I have't seen those shots before, apart from the 3rd one.

I don´t know but these look more real..The first picture, like jonny wrote, Hogwarts has the Astronomy Tower, and it´s been since Half-Blood Prince and I really do not remember that shot...also Voldemort Tsunami...

Anybody remember that image a long while ago that was posted of Helena (as Bellatrix)? It was a shot very similar to these . . . looked like a picture taken of a movie screen?

Remember that it turned out to be a photoshop image of Helena (as Bellatrix) added to a scene from "Legend"?

Just saying, this whole scenario reminds me of that. The images are blurry enough that they could have been photoshopped. Now obviously some of those pics are legit images that we've seen before but I'm just saying they could be fakes.

Again, maybe they are real but there are people out there who are really good with photoshop.

hmmm strange stuff...but on the other hand they definitely look like the kind of pictures WB loves to put in the trailers an as they are not very clear! but they could easily be real they look so...
especially the last one, no shot in any HP movie could be photoshoped in to this (yeah, the top one as many of u have said could have been modified someway because we´ve got many shots of Hogwarts in the film, altough this shot in particular in can´t remember)

So i guess i´ll just give this the benefit of doubt, if not totally beliving at least not rejecting it either

I'd agree with you with one exception . . . the images are out of focus. You can do an "OK" photoshop job but once you make it blurry it becomes harder to notice the imperfections.

Yeah, I was thinking it also could be the shot from OOTP from after Sirius talking to Harry at grimmauld place, but the towers are just a little bit different.

Yeah, I don't blame anybody if they believe these are real. These pics seem pretty convincing but I know some photoshop tricks and I've been some really good photoshop jobs done on this forum before . . . which in turn always make me have doubt when I see images that are out of focus.

They could be legit but that chamber of secrets image is the one I doubt the most.

I don't know if it's this exact pic of hogwarts from the wizarding world but it could be from a similar pic from a different angle. Notice my comparison pic here.



The architecture is the same . . they could have cut the castle out and gave it that sky background

and u are totally right a lot of hogwarts shot is what could cause confusion, wether this are real or not

The first one is fake: The battle starts at the evening, you can see in trailer castle being destroyed at night. Here its the next morning and the castle is not destroyed! It's a fake!

now that u bring the subject...do u think they will show the batle during the whole night?? i mena how much time do u think the battle will last
it would be awesome if they show a whole day u know night shots and then day shjots just like the battle at minas tirith from TROTK

I think I noticed something. The black smudge (I think it's a hill or part of a mountain) in the Hogwarts castle picture is poking out of the frame of the screen, very slightly. If the image is brighter then you can see the outline of this black smudge against the outside of the screen. Or it may be my eyes playing tricks.

Nevermind, I take that "discovery" back. The black smudge is contained within the frame.
