Many institutions, including cities like Boston, Houston, Detroit, New York, and L.A have named DH Part 1 very likely to get noms. in these field:

-Best Cinematography: Eduardo Serra.
-Best Art Direction: Stuart Craig.
-Best Original Score: Alexandre Desplat.
-Best Special Effects.
-Best Sound Design.

Any some critics predict Emma getting a Satellite Award. Thats as good as any award you can get other then a Golden Globe or a Oscar.

And FYI: The Golden Globes will be announced Tuesday at 1:00 EST. Hope to see Desplat's music nomination, and possibly a acting nod.

I think she's brilliant. The best of her performance so far. I am not sure if that Oscar worthy, but if Sandra Bullock can win for The Blind Side, then everything is possible
