Director Cameo Appearances

We all know that David Yates had a cameo in OOTP as a portrait in the Grand Staircase Tower. But what of the other directors? I stumbled across a piece of info which says that Alfonso Cuaron had a cameo in POA as a wizard holding some candles in the Three Broomsticks. http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Alfonso_Cuarón Also, Mike Newell had a "cameo" in GOF as the radio announcer at the beginning of the film, just before Frank sees the lights come on in the Riddle House.

So, I wonder if Chris Columbus had any cameos in his two Potter films?

I am almost certain that is Alfonso. In regards to Newell, if you listen closely at the beginning of the film, just as the camera pans down from the HP logo and we see Frank, you'll hear this British radio announcer speaking faintly over the scene. That's Newell.

Ah. And I once heard a rumor of JK Rowling appearing in the films--does anyone know if she is in any of them? Similar to how Stephanie Meyer had a very prominent cameo in Twilight?
