OK, I wasn't around here for the promotions of Half-Blood Prince and I wasn't really anticipating the film either, so I do not remember this being released:



Was that the first trailer that was released by WB ? Because that "teaser trailer" was pathetic.

No. The teaser trailer was that creepy one with Tom riddle i remeber that being like a teaser promo thing for IMAX.

OH MY GOSH I remember this! This was the FIRST thing they released! They released the real teaser later on, but the fandom was pissed over this.

LMAO, I remember it well. They advertised it so much, HBP Preview coming soon at IMAX theaters, and it was just that piece of dialogue. There is a Hitler video on YouTube about it rofl.

It was released with The Dark Knight. Although the real teaser was released only two weeks later, everyone was pissed. It was the most anticlimactic thing ever. Everyone laughed in the theater.

I was so angry when they released this. Then delayed the film, then released a teaser straight after.

Well i was like in tears...abit. I was pissed i wanted to break something. I even prayed for them to move the release date back.

I wasn't really THAT into Harry Potter back then (I was only just starting to read the books) but I was still really excited about the movie. But when I came home from school, checked Mugglenet (Mugglenet was good back then) and saw that it had been delayed I got pissed, started crying and thats how my obsession began

And it wasn't even the delay itself that had the fandom in an uproar. It was WB's REASONING. They did it for money. That's what sent them (us, I guess) into a frenzy.

Then there was the fact that they did it just after the teaser trailer. The delay came out of NO WHERE. We were all happy and excited for the film after the teaser trailer, then BAM! WB delayed it.

its weird, but I didnt really care that it was delayed, I had this feeling that there was something wrong because we were getting close to the movie, and there was very little promotion.. I was very dissapointed with OotP and since HBP was going to be directed by Yates, I wasnt anticipating it that much, and I thought he was the worst director (im eating my words right know, I ADORE DH1 and I liked HBP a lot). I had fun seeing all the videos of HBP being delayed, it was hilarious.

A bad thing happened though, I started reading the Twilight series, to anticipate that at least. (twilight was being released in december, since HBP was delayed, they moved twilight to HBP's spot) I got obssesed for the series for a time, then I realized that they werent that good.

I want to see that vid too, Aaron!
