A Note on "Magic Is Might"

This is from MTV Movies:

"The full-length statue is a bit more horrifying than the "Magic Is Might" part [in the trailer], but Warner Bros. would be smart to save that reveal for the movie."

Looks like the mound of muggles will be included in the film, but not shown in the trailer due to it being too graphic.

I think the crushed muggles are included but simply not in the shot of the trailer, there is no another statue.

Guys if you look at the trailer where Ron is running in the ministry you can see the tangled bodies at the bottom on the statue. Also im wondering if in the Ministry Atrium where the huge Gold Wizard was in OOTP, there may be another statue with a wizard and witch on thrones. That would be wicked to see.

Yes there were two statues in the atrium in OOTP, so there may be two new statues in DH.

The witch and wizard are on top of the Magic is Might statue, out of frame.

Its still possible that there may be another statue in the other Atrium (obviously CGI)

On snitchseeker you can see on the High Res version the bottom of the statue.

It's not the same. Look at the shape. The first statue is a cylinder, the second is triangular. And there are no Ministry offices around the second statue.

I'm pretty sure its the same statue and as for the offices, I think the angle of the camera is blocking them out with the view of the statue. Remember from OOTP the offices dont go all the way round

But the shape is different. The first statue is round, the second is more jagged and has edges - more like a triangle.

Apologies to go slightly off topic but in the second pic the am I right in thinking (from left to right) thats Lucius Malfoy, Pius Thicknesse, Delores Umbridge and Albert Runcorn?

It has the exact same square base. In the first photo the statue is in the background so it's shape is a bit blurry and out of focus making it look cylindrical. The ministry offices are near where the camera is in the Magic is Might pic, and Yaxley is running down the same hall that those people are in with the fireplaces.


You can see the concept art here with Magic is Might and the big gold "M" written on it and the muggles on the bottom.
It's next to Harry and Arthur, below the art for the statue from OOTP.

it's the same triangular shaped prism/pilar. there's no reason why to be different
the pics are taken from opposite angles.
in the second ron's running where people's standing in the first one.
just think as if the camera in the second pic is located in one office of the first image

Actually thinking back to the book and looking at pic 1 again it could be Yaxley (as if im correct doesnt Yaxley put the Imperius Curse on Pius)

It's the same statue.Look at the top of the statue in the Yaxley shot. It has an edge in the centre of it.

There are bodies of Muggles at the bottom, logically around the water of the fountain. You can see that in the Yaxley shot.

Furthermore, I highly doubt they'll let the wizard's golden statue in the Atrium.This will also be replaced, but that would have been green screen so the test-screeners didn't know what there was supposed to be there.

Don't forget that they said that the Ministry sequence was one of the most unfinished ones.

Furthermore, since polyjuiced Ron is in the elevator, this means that when we see Ron all wet running in the Atrium, this wasn't caused by the raining office but maybe the water of the fountain? We know that there will be a battle in the Atrium with the Trio battling the Ministry Nazi-Death Eaters on their way to escape.

Look at the colours of the DH shots. Everything is black,gray,brown and golden. The cinematography is brilliant and I think that when we'll see more shots of the entire Atrium there will be this heavy and depressing feel.

It is Yaxley, not Thicknesse (his hair is not that long - http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/File:Dscn3478s.jpg) Umbridge and i think Harry as Runcorn because it appears that they have moved the Muggle Procecution ceremony to the Atrium rather than having it in the hearing room, judging by the table and the early pic of that bloody man being pulled away by the snatchers in the Atrium, likely to Umbridge and the table, this is my conclusion!

I never said the huge wizard would stay (and the ministry still has the green tiles) thought of the the sets in the series the Ministry has to be one of my favourites. I love the details. It's so epic!

Maybe Harry just drank a little less polyjuice potion then Ron and Hermione. Their potion will wear off shorty after this moment.

It is the raining office thing. Ron gets wet trying to fix the raining office and then he comes to find Harry and Hermione.
