Positves and Negatives.

Ok here u discuss positive things(changes/additions) about DH1 for YOU,and Negative things about DH1 for YOU. List them please like this:

Positive:
1.hedwigs changed death.
2.its 2hr 30 min.
3.no potterwatch/goblins revenge
4.mudblood on hermiones hand/bellatrixs whip.
5.we see when hermione modifies her parents memories.


Negative:
1.we dont see moodys/rufus death
2.no hogwarts scenes
3.no lunas room
4.no mcgonagall
5.not much dursley dialouge

3.no potterwatch/goblins revenge - didnt care about dose scenes
4.mudblood on hermiones hand/bellatrixs whip - wonderful
5.we see when hermione modifies her parents memories - great

Negative:
1.we dont see moodys/rufus death - We don't' see it in the book so the movie is being faithful
2.no hogwarts scenes - Only think i'm a little pissed about
3.no lunas room - dont' care
4.no mcgonagall - she will be in many scenes in part 2, I dont think she appears in the first half of the book so the movie its just being faithful
5.not much dursley dialouge - really dont care

3- Voldemort breaking the snake on lucius wand;
4- The locket scene;
5- we see when hermione modifies her parents memories;
6- blood on Hermiones hands;
7- Umbridge better then ever;
8- Dementors chase;
9- just could go on and on....

Negative:
1-No Hogwarts;

I havent really read too much of the recent test screening info, so not fully informed on whats in and out but here goes.

For positive I'd say I like how close they are sticking with the book. It doesnt seem like they are omiting huge parts of it or changing things for no reason. Spliting the movies def. helped with that.

Negative, I guess I'd agree with you I'd like to have seen some of the scenes that were just mentioned in the books like Moody's death and what happens to Ron with the snatchers. I wasn't expecting to see them so it would have just been a bonus, so no harm done I guess. We get to see Hermione modify her parents memories which will be good.

Only real negative after all of this is no explanation of the mirror. But hey, they could explain it in Part 2.

That's really it. Everything else I understand why they cut it out or why they changed it.

I would rather the mirror was explained then for them to have scenes at Hogwarts. They were never going to have scenes at Hogwarts in this film. They didn't in the book.

in the book the headmasters portrait tells them that the sword destroys horcruxes but they cut that part out

thats just it according to the test screeners she NEVER reads the book. it goes like this One Day While walking hermoine says harry the sword kills horcruxes i thought you might want to know that. it just seems very random. i would not have a problem with this except that it just literally comes out of nowhere they never discuss how to destroy the horcruxes hermoine just out of the blue says this.

Well, maybe that
will be in Part II.
Remember that they
find out about the Hallows
almost at the end with
Xeno Loovegood, which
gives them NO time to
think about the Hallows.
And I bet that they'll
be focused on that at
the beginning of Part II;
when Harry talks to
Ollivander at Shell Cottage.
Just like we saw in the
HBP teaser.

negative= percy weasley is never seen and its NEVER mentioned that he has had a falling out with his family. in part 2 he will simply show up and apologize. non book readers will not know he is estranged from his family because it was NEVER mentioned in the films

The only gripes I have with the details are the mirror and the short scenes of Godric's Hollow and Malfoy Manor. Also, I want to see the same Potter house as seen in Philosopher's Stone. Everything else sounds brilliant.

Guys dont get disapointed with the malfoy manor scene. Some ppl said it was rushed, but others said it was brilliant and perfect.

Well of course everything is rushed. They split three quarters of the way through the book. Now we are going to have to sit through ten minutes of the Prince's Tale. Save us all from that.
