Deathly Hallows Test Screening

A person is now claiming they have seen test screenings for the film -

See here.

I'll wait until more reports are released online before I take this seriously.

Here's some info from the guy:

"Well, I think she goes up to her room first to pack her bags and starts collecting all of her childhood photos and then starts to cry,

then the next scene she goes down to her parents and they look at her and they say something like (I'm not completely sure on this) "Do you really have to do this?" and she nods and tells them that they never had a daughter and if they do, then they will be in danger. Then she pulls out her magic wand and points it at them, and then she screams something in wizard language and then we cut to the next scene. P.s this is not exactly what happened, just what I remember of it. "

It seems legit, but i'm not counting on anything. Also this guy says he's more of a LOTR fan and doesn't know much about HP. Looking on his IMDB account he has rarely posted on the site. Account created 2005.

Hmm, the description does seem legit. However, I am still remaining sceptical about this. Too many liars about recently. I won't trust it until more sources are online.

"My favourite scene would be when they come to London and a magician comes up to Ron I think and asks if he wants to see some magic, Me and my girl thought this was hilarious.

And yeah, I think the next scene was with the guy who played Davy Jones talking about Harry Potter in a press junket look-a-like, and that he will be turning 17 this month which will mean alot in the magic world. "

This leads me to believe it's fake.

SS said that they sent from Japan told him that they were given 10 tickets to 10 fans who probably are screening tests. So proabilmente is completely false.

"I'm not a big fan of Harry Potter, so there were many things I did not understand. But the scene with the magician was really fast & nice, the kids were just walking past him with Ron the closest to the magician, so he scares him from nowhere, but they continue walking so we dont see more of that guy. "

I think the 'magician' he's talking about is the bear mascot on the street in the trailer.
  • jonny7003jonny7003 Posts: 3,771 ✭✭
"Yes, do you mean when Ron's magic *beep* up and he loses his arm? Yes, i'm pretty sure she had blood on her hands in that scene.

One thing that shocked me and my girl pretty much was the blood in this one, there was ALOT, and by that I mean like a slasher film - more than LotR. I think it might get R-Rated if they don't edit it. "

"Like I said, I generally don't like the Harry Potter movies, but I can with good confidence say that I enjoyed this one because it was alot darker.

The cinematography wasn't so much to my taste, I was quite shocked that a magical film used so much tripod shots, I would think more moving shots would be appropriate for a film like this, and the lightning looked really natural, not alot of extra lightning and it was really blue (I just checked out the Halfblood prince trailer to compare with, and that one looked alot better and more magical)

The editing was really choppy, at least in this one (but I think the final one will be much better) you never got to see the characters leaving or arriving, they were just suddently there thanks to the cutting. And I don't know if this has to do with the editing, but one thing that I did not enjoy was how they presented the characters, which they did not do. New people would come all the time without me knowing who the *beep* they where. One example was the tall bloke who was with the crazy guy with the fake eye, I still dont have a clue who that was, but he was clearly supposed to save Harry?

The acting was okay, as I mentioned earlier Daniel Radcliffe wasn't that good, but the adults in the picture were much better. And I liked Ron alot, his acting bit too. "

I say this is a huge LIAR. Another fake. Still, you can read through the stuff he posted if you want to. It's up to you whether you believe it or not.

"It ends with them being captured at some girls room, just after they have talked to her dad. He kind of backstabs them."

    LIAR!!
If it ends in Xenophilius house, where that big snatcher chase scene will be placed in the movie?
  • jonny7003jonny7003 Posts: 3,771 ✭✭
He does say the editing was extremely choppy and that this was a very rough cut, so the chase may not have been in. He also said that it didn't open with a WB logo, it just cut straight to Hermione's village. Very strange. Still, I think it's fake.
  • [Deleted User][Deleted User] Posts: 7,344 ✭✭✭✭
    I'd say fake. Yep.
  • jonny7003jonny7003 Posts: 3,771 ✭✭
This guy is now talking about Snape saying how Harry will be leaving the house when he is 17. For someone who doesn't know much about Harry Potter, he is saying details of scenes that seem pretty legit.

    Totally Bullshit !

One more people who want to joke with HP fans

"The scenes with Ron & Hermione were quite awkward, I mean their little "romance" was a new thing for me because I hadn't noticed it until now. I dont remember alot, but I think the first thing was when Hermione jumped with her arms around Harry, and you could see how Ron looked a little pissed.

Another thing was that it was often Hermione and Harry walking in the front and Ron in the back when they were in the woods, just looking at them really jealous. So you could see the tension and Hermione even cried when Ron left so that was kind of a dramatic scene."

We've seen various behind the scenes pictures of Ron behind Harry and Hermione. I dunno what to think.

    He's messing with us.
  • i think he's a fake. if u think he doesn't know hp then think again maybe he's just a poser who's messing with us. i can describe something like that and say i don't like HP if i want to fool people convincingly. let us not be fooled for the nth time. the japanese trailer description released earlier was more convincing than this but still ended up being fake.

Yea i don't buy him. He sounds like a jerk with the LOTR comment. I can recap movies that I dislike better than that. Even if he was confused the description is horrible

Also if we have seen various pictures of Ron behind Harry and Hermione then he probably has. Thats probably whats he is going by

    More stuff he said:

"1. Did you see any scene with Dementors (large black/grey hooded creatures that fly)?

I dont know if we are thinking about the same thing, but during Davy Jones speech they showed us a bit of our own world, how black flying Nazgul looking creatures were soaring above us and real people werent noticing them just becoming depressed. I hope this answered your question!

    2. Did you see Ron stab the neckless ? Did ghostly figures of Harry and Hermione come out ?

Yes, this happens if I remember right during the same scene, two zombie looking Harry and Hermione appear and start to make out, it looked pretty kinky to be honest, hah.

    3. Is Dobby (the little elf creature with big eyes) in any scenes that you can remember ?

Yes he was, he was very angry and grumpy and harassed Hermione alot, in one scene Ron runs out to beat the living *beep* out of him but is stopped by Hermione. He turns good later though

    4. Did you see MadEye (the guy with the fake eye) die at the beginning of the film ? If so, did you see how he died ?

No, We do not see it, but we are told that he dies. At least not in this cut.

    Seems like another Dream Silently.

That doesn't sound like Dobby at all. He's got Dobby and Kreacher confused.

A deliberate mistake, he's trying to be clever haha.
  • jonny7003jonny7003 Posts: 3,771 ✭✭
He could be legit, if there were Test Screenings. SS know where the split is!
  • [Deleted User][Deleted User] Posts: 7,344 ✭✭✭✭
Yeah. Why would SnitchSeeker tweet that? They don't pull bull like that. Do they? I'll be really disappointed in them if they are BSing!
  • jonny7003jonny7003 Posts: 3,771 ✭✭
He said that Harry gets up and hits the snake with a chair. This scene was confirmed ages ago because Dan got injured doing it.

    Well I know
    they are still
    in production
    with both of
    the films,
    but I hope
    that they
    improve the
    editing, if what
    it says right
    here is true.

    The other thing
    is that he mentioned
    that the cinematography
    is not as good
    as in HBP,
    and I really
    wanted it
    to be even better
    than HBP,
    if not just
    kinda dark
    and gritty.

Well yes the editing will improve (so there fake... again!) the cinematography is done with DH by the best cinematographer there is Eduardo Serra! and its rumoured and shown on various occassions in the trailers that it is very cinematic and epic and focuses alot, very much on the landscape and beauty of a scene, the naturalness of the colour (so there fake... again!) plus Dobby wouldn't be angry at anyone other than the Malfoys and thats not in this nature otherwise! is it? (so there fake... again!)

    Lord Stafford.

I agree, it does seem like he is deliberatly confusing Kreacher with Dobby, if he just forgot the name of the elves he would have asked which one they meant since both are in the movie.

Wow eeyore, this is the first time I've ever seen you comment! I'd think you were new, but you've been around since December '09 according to your page. Glad to see you back, you probably don't know me, in fact I've never even talked to you but its good to see some new* faces in the forum.

*not exactly, but still "new" for me.

  • haha thank you, yes I have been here for a little while, but I tend to lurk mostly. I dont comment too often. I mostly just post when someone asks something about the books since I have read them many many times lol.
  • Oh I forgot to mention that I do 'know' you. As a lurker there are a few names I recognize after a while haha. I also know that if I ever want to include a website I will need to make it a clickable link for that Richard guy.
