Warner Bros international have confirmed to SnitchSeeker that on August 11, 2010, several theatres across Japan will be featuring a marathon of the first six Harry Potter films, as well as an exclusive preview to Deathly Hallows.

The Harry Potter countdown event will take place in theatres in the cities of Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Sapporo, with the chance for fans who sign up to get free giveaways as well as watch the movie marathon and sneak preview.

The HBP footage from Japan was leaked last year, so there's hope for this to leak too.

it will be the same thing as the comic con footage EXCLUSIVE to Japan weather its new or not i doubt it will be leaked. WB Has shown that there good at keeping lids on things. if Comic Con footage didnt get leaked this surely wont.

WB have NEVER said the footage shown at CC will be available online NEVER ! They have precisely said that there will be something EXCLUSIVE for CC attendees ! It's our fault to have believe they would let the footage come in online

Yeah, the footage was NOT in 3D. Everyone thought it was but it turns out they were handing out the 3D glasses for a different event.

Is it possible that this footage is another trailer for Deathly Hallows ? Could it be the Part 1 trailer we were promised by that media analyst, who said that a Part 1 trailer will be available 2 months after the official trailer on June 28 ?

If this is the Part 1 trailer, then they could release it into cinemas in Japan and a couple of hours after it's shown, WB could release it online. This would be 2 days before Scott Pilgrim Vs The World comes out in cinemas, which the trailer could then be shown infront of. All we need a confirmation by WB either today or tomorrow. But I shall not get my hopes up any higher.
